Das Hotel 'Zur Fährbuhne' liegt in Hohenwutzen, am Nordende des Oberbruchs, nur durch eine wenig befahrene Strasse von der Oder getrennt. Ein neueres Gebäude, mit Gastraum und AuÃenbestuhlung im Garten. Die Zimmer im Obergeschoà genügend groÃ, die Einrichtung üblicher Hotel-Standard, das Bad ebenso, alles gepflegt und sauber. Es gibt Flatscreen-TV, aber im ganzen Hotel leider kein WLAN. Die Qualität des Restaurants ist in Ordnung, das Frühstück ebenso. Das Service-Personal wirkt allerdings manchmal etwas lustlos. Insgesamt solider Durchschnitt, der Preis angemessen.

Nach der Radtour wurden wir freundlich empfangen und schnell bedient. Das frisch gezapfte Bier hatte eine angenehme Temperatur. Schnitzel und Spargel waren ganz hervorragend, die Kartoffeln leider nicht. Die Bedienung war freundlich und wir haben uns auf der Terrasse wohl gefühlt.Ãbernachtung in der Pension war auch gut, schöne Zimmer, sehr sauber, schöner Innenhof mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Beim Frühstück waren die Brötchen nur aufgebacken und hart und es gab nur helle Brötchen und das Schwarzbrot war trocken. Ansonsten war alles gut, ein bisschen Obst wäre noch schön gewesen.

During a company trip we have stopped at this Landhof for our lunch break. Tugged away in the little village of Liepe near Europe's largest "ship-elevator" this Landhof has been beautifully restored. Whilst the historical outside is fully restored the inside has been restored with a mix of old and modern elegance. The atmosphere within the restaurant was stunning and the classy Christmas décor just added to the very welcoming feeling. The food was just amazing. The specialities vary amongst the local dishes and are all mouth watering. When you are in this area this restaurant is a definite must stop location.

Gediegene Unterkunft mit vollwertiger Verköstigung, aber auch kein Highlight. Sehr angenehmes und hilfsbereites Personal.. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist für eine Ãbernachtung ausreichend, aber nicht für z.B. einen Urlaub (Miniröhrenfernseher, kein Kühlschrank, keinerlei Hygieneausstattung wie Föhn, Seife oder Duschgel )Es gibt ein Behindertenzimmer, welches rollstuhlgerecht gelegen ist Das Zimmer selbst ist geräumig und das Bad mit Dusche groÃ. 200 m entfernt ist eine Schiffsanlegestelle und in etwa gleicher Entfernung auf der anderen Seite des Flusses ist der Ortskern..

its more a heavy caloria temple of food, with a specialty in game meat.The game servings all looked very much home made and huge.Please, do skip coffee, its burnt and quasi undrinkable, but might work post a full lunch for digestion purposes.

We went to this popular restaurant for lunch because of its unique location in Falkenberg, Germany. After less than an hour drive from Berlin we reached Carlsburg Restaurant, which is nestled high above ground level. From this mountainl-top vista we were overwhelmed with the verdant panorama around us. Our choice of dishes (Hirsch-Gulasch, Saurerbraten, Zander, and Spargel ) dishes were very good and well presented. The regional pilsner beer is to be recommended. The service was slow due to a full-house for lunch!

Met een vlotte bediening waren we al snel voorzien van een prettig drankje. Het menu bood goede keuze uit vis, vlees en vegetarisch. En dat eten smaakte echt voortreffelijk! Op een terras bijna aan de rivier de Oder, met volop zon (zuidligging) en welkome zonneschermen én heerlijk eten met een smakelijk wijntje: dat doet goed!

One of the charming surprises that you can't miss while visiting the greater area of Berlin. There are lots of great hiking and mountain bike trails starting from Bad Freienwalde or Falkenberg and some of them lead to Baasee, a small lake in the middle of a beautiful forrest. And that's where you find this little jewel, the "Waldschenke". The restaurant fits very well into nature, with its rustic decoration. You can choose from dishes made from wild pig, home made cakes and great German Beer. Often in the summer month, there is live music on the terrace close to the lake. In the winter month there is a cozy inside cottage environment with a huge fire place.
