Went out for evening meal with four of us. We had quick friendly service with our drinks...cervasas and Oaxaquita (margarita with mescal) and appies (tried two different shrimp-delicious and plenty to share on each plate). Main course came soon after - two of us had pizzas and two had catch of the day. The flavours were intense with the fresh fish and grilled veggies. The pizzas had thin crust and little sauce with lots flavour on both the veggie and the pepperoni. No dessert as we were full but did ask for Mexican coffee (not on the menu) and it was delicious. The owner came by to check in and ensure all was well. Even got a selfie with him. Very personable-we will be back ! One of those restaurants you continue to go back too !! This food was incredible. I felt like I was on one of those gourmet cooking shows where they specially plate all of your food and explain the how and what of it. I can't begin to describe the flavors and textures I experienced.The food was served family style so my sister and I shared everything. It was the perfect amount. On our first visit, we ate parrot fish, grilled watermelon, and corn followed by 2 desserts. On our second (yes, we went back rather than eating at our all inclusive hotel), we had short rib and greenbeans. It was incredible!The staff, the ambience, the flavors...We'd definitely go back!Thank you!You can come back anytime you want to, you're always welcome. I've been wanting to come to District for a long time and definitely was not disappointed!!! Over the course of a week I ate there about 4+ times and got to try almost everything on the menu. They provided me with amazing service and delicious food. I would suggest getting a little bit of everything as it is great to share in a group of friends or even just for two people. Bring your appetite; you'll want to order everything!Right now there is a Test Kitchen menu which features a selection of burgers. The "Purest" is better than an in-and-out burger and would highly recommend trying this one. Another couple favorites are the Ahi Tuna, District Greens and the Lettuce Wraps. There is a great selection of beers (the COLDEST in the Baja) and the house cocktails are amazing - try the Sangria; a favorite!Definitely head in for brunch on Saturday/Sunday. They have a great selection of items - the Benny's are really tasty & so are the Ceasre's (they taste just like home). The environment was fun and friendly, good for kids as well. On the weekend evenings, they have a DJ which makes for a fun and lively atmosphere. Outside, there is a patio with games including corn-hole. They have multiple TV screens which is ideal for watching sports.The restaurant has AC & fast WIFI. We dined at La Forchetta again during this trip to San Jose del Cabo and couldn't have been happier. The food is always exceptional and the presentation is perfect. We brought another couple with us to Cabo this time and raved about La Forchetta so had to take them. We all loved everything we had. The best part is always the chocolate dome dessert, which melts away at your table.Thanks Steve, we love having you every time you come to Cabo, we always welcome returning happy customers. This will be a long one. Long story short, my wife and I both loved La Galeria and would recommend it to anyone. The long version will need some back story. My wife and I got out of a couples massage late one evening and we were looking for late dinner reservations. We were happy to find that La Galeria closes at 11 pm. I called and made a reservation and we rushed to get there. It was getting around 11 and my wife and I were in the cab. It appeared as though our taxi driver was lost and didn't know where to go to find the restaurant and we had to help him (neither of us speak Spanish so that experience was more than frustrating.) We eventually got to the restaurant at 11:15 and I was completely expecting to be turned away however our waiter Jorge and the staff completely welcomed us and seated us. We sat outside to enjoy the cool night and this attracted other people interested in the restaurant who were promptly turned away. They kept the restaurant open for my wife and I because of the reservation!!!!We ordered the special that day (2 filets, 2 lobster tails, sea bass and tequila shrimp all for 100 US!!) and were never rushed in any way. This was a complete different experience to when we went to a restaurant late at our own resort that completely neglected us while they picked up the chairs and cleaned the restaurant AROUND US. Anyway we were enjoying the night when to our surprise, our waiter Jorge brought out a burner and supplies to make the shrimp AT OUR TABLE. It was an awesome experience and again this happened all after the restaurant was technically closed. After dinner, we had dessert and Jorge even helped us get a cab home. Jorge and the rest of our staff waited until we were in the taxi before they ever started to close the restaurant. We are truly grateful for our wonderful experience. Thanks Jorge!!!

Started off with a hand crafted mojito. No mixes here. Then skipped right to the highly recommended sweet corn ice cream and sweet bread for dessert. My sweetie had the scrimp ceviche acapullco style. He went out of his comfort zone and loved this treat. I finished my meal with a quesadilla chilanga. Hand made deep fried shell stuffed with chicken and cheese. Smothered in a smooth tomato puree. This was so smooth on the tongue. No heavy chewing, no aftertaste. I would like to discripe it as melting in your mouth.All of the recommendations of Ignacio were truly wonderful and his service impeccable! We are looking forward to returning when in this area again.Thanks dkosiorek for your excellent review, specially coming from someone with so many reviews on TA. We have a great bartender thant makes great and refreshing drinks, and mojitos are very popular as well as all our south americas drink récipes. Our Acapulco ceviche is very popular and it has a great balance of ingredients, and of course our Quesadilla Chulanga is so mouthwatering original dish from Mexico City. Not sure if this is the best restaurant in town, but it sure was one of the best we visited over a 2 week holiday. Highly recommend. The dinning area is basically in the backyard of a home in a garden area and is quite romantic. The food is well prepared and presented and is of high quality. There was a singer there the night we visited and the service was well above standard. Worth the effort to get there.
