GREYVILLE RACECOURSE Home to Africa's Greatest Horseracing Event, the Vodacom Durban July, Greyville Racecourse hosts top class horseracing events in South Africa all year round. Framed in the background by the many hotels of Durban's Golden Mile, Greyville Racecourse is situated at the bottom of Durban's Berea and surrounds the green expanse of Royal Durban Golf Club's championship course. Greyville is well known for its Night Racing and has a turf and polytrack so no matter what the weather the show goes on. For seven months of the year Greyville hosts night racing every Friday evening which is extremely popular with the public and features entertainment for the entire family, including a special section just for children.
