Nice to view the sunset with a cold beer, we only had drinks here. The bar looked derelict but the bar staff were friendly, English limited. It had more life than the rest of the beach restaurants. Service a little slow.

My friend and I were searching for a bar to go to in Colombo and were fortunate to have this suggested by one of the locals.Situated right beside the beach this bar serves alcoholic drinks (cheap by Western Standards), with 500ml of Lion lager approximately 300 rupees (£2.30). You can either sit on the beach or under cover in the 2 storied bar. There is also live music with good quality bands and individuals performing.

We were staying at a local hotel and spotted this restaurant on a walk along the beach. I don't normally like seafood but this was amazing. It may have been the way it was cooked or because it was a traditional, local recipe but the meal we had was fantastic. Over the course of our stay, we visited 4 times, and on each occasion, we enjoyed the wonderful views, the amazing food and great hospitality, a real gem of a restaurant and, if your staying anywhere along this stretch of beautiful coastline, well worth a visit

My wife and I both got the SPA treatment and while we didn't have the time to do so but would have loved to go for another round. Prompt, professional and experienced service within an affordable price range. Also, offering Tuk-tuk services for a city tour to various places.

Nice place. We sat outside in the garden. Buildings both sides give the place a cosy and private feel.Reviews were promising.Prompt and attentive service, a good start.First gripe from my teenager - fresh orange juice was more like strong orange squash. So we ordered a lime juice, mixed the 2 and all okay.Food came quickly, nice surprise there as we have had to wait at other restaurants.One lobster- over cooked!One medium prawns - over cooked!!If you major in seafood you must know how to cook it, surely.Devilled prawns and shark stake - no complaints.Not the meal we had hoped for having read other recent reviews. A shame.
