I visited the Monopol on a recent business trip with a large group for dinner. I found the location very scenic with a outdoor dining balcony on those good weather evenings. The contemporary decor was very nice as well. Although enjoyable, I did find the food a little disappointing. My salad, unlike the guest next to me, was mostly onions and the portion of my entree was much smaller then an adjacent guest. Quality control seemed lacking. The food was adequate, but nothing particularly special in terms of flavor. I did notice some outstanding looking desserts, although I did not try any.As an option in Hameln, I would go back, but only because the choices in this quaint little village are limited.

The food and bier here at Bauhaus Felsenkeller was awesome. They brew their own beer here since 1474. Family owned since 1861. Highly recommended. They also offer rooms. Thanks for your visit. We were happy about the positive review.

31st July 2018. We were staying overnight in the Montana Hotel and wandered over to see what the Service Area had to offer, we were pleasantly surprised. Clean and nicely decorated, we sat more or less in the middle of the concourse outside the actual restaurant entrance. Service was fine, the Giros lovely and the beers cheap, as was the litre of Ro'se wine we shared.

So I lived in Hameln for 3 years and never knew this place existed. I visited for the first time today with family and friends and I was truly surprised. Great selection of pancakes, never knew you could have pancakes with so many different options. The environment is really relaxing and romantic. This is the type of place I can imagine relaxing with a bottle of wine and trying a pancake with a different filings.Worth a visit if you happen to be in Hameln.

Was here with my family on the second Christmas Day and loved every moment- great decoration and atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in Spain, a wide selection of tapas but also some more traditional dishes for those who don't fancy anything too exciting. really great prices, too. We'll certainly come back

This restaurant is set amid lovely woodlands on a hilltop just outside Hameln. The building is old and attractive but the cakes we had were only ok, rather than great. We sat outside under big umbrellas in glorious sunshine and neither the coffee nor the cakes matched the setting.

I've been to Plaza with my family on the second Christmas Day and we all loved the place.the selection of tapas is great, they have all traditional Spanish dishes in cold and warm as well as a steak or chicken dishes for those who fancy something more traditional. Red house wine was not or favourite but the waitress was very helpful and friendly. Also- great prices !!!

Surrounded by trees this little restaurant serves delicious local food at reasonable prices.Service is good, although high demand at peak points might make it slow, but not quite to hurt my evaluation by a one point demotion. I had a chicken soup that was just perfect for a chilly night, followed by a house salad that was amazing, and a schnitzel that has to be one of the best I have ever had. Beers were outstanding and no room for desert. The place seems to be loved by locals, and it was packed on a Tuesday night with people from all ages, including families. Lunch seems to work quite well too. I would go back anytime, shame it is thousands of miles from home...
