As so many in Alliston must love the place due to its high Trip Advisor rating, we decided to try it.I must say it is the most unusual restaurant I've ever been in! Firstly, the cooking truly is homemade. Very tasty and you get exactly what you ask for. The decor was family photos and hockey and a jumble of stuffed animals and odd decorations! The cook and owner Mike came out to each table to make sure everything was good and that is usually reserved for a fine dining experience. However, bless him, he is authentic and lovely and so was checking on everyone.A sweet family atmosphere of homeyness that is rare.Charming. Thank you!

Lunched here today. The have proper Buffalo Wings, but I'll have to come back for that, because I had the Roadhouse Burger, and my wife had the Bacon Cheddar Burger. Amazing burgers!Cooked to perfection, from fresh local beef. Fresh toppings, nice upscale bun.Sides were excellent, too. The sweet potato fries were great, with a nice subtle cajun coating. Greek salad had lots of feta, and some nice kalamata olives.They have an extensive selection of local brews, but I had a local cider called Spy, brewed on Blue Mountain, very nice, crisp and dry.They make good coffee! Friendly, attentive service, good tunes, and they know the regulars' names. And all for a reasonable price.If I lived closer, this would be my local!

My family ate a late lunch and I have to say this SC is in need of some care. Booths are all ripped, tables had napkins underneath so they didnt tip, the floors were dirty, the menus all falling apart and greasy to touch. Not a good first impression. Then we got our food. I order the roast beef dinner and the roast beef was super dry, the veggies I got were horrible. The cauliflower was brown, the carrots were flimsy and looked dehydrated. I was shocked that they actually served me this dinner by the look of it. Horrible. Dont they have someone checking quality of food going out.The staff were super friendly. Which was nice. But, our server only came by once, when we were almost done. Never checked if we needed anything. This is a great little gem for lunch in downtown Alliston. No deep frying, just great and generous homemade foods. European background of chef owner Deb, leads to interesting combos with wraps and sandwiches. Good homemade soups, and salads offered, with daily specials as well. You wont go away hungry and catering is available .......give it a try !!

This was the last meeting for our group of 10 on Saturday December 30th 2017. Good food and fellowship and 4 members are off to Arizona for the rest of the Winter. Just like to say a special thank you to Christina for looking after the Romeo's and Roleo's. That is the acronym for Retired older men eating out and retired older ladies eating out.

Honestly, it was our first visit there and their first impressions were top notch. Very very friendly and accomodating staff. I have pancreatitis meaning my food options were limited and they really did a great job accomodating me. Not a single problem with our service or food. I loved their attitudes and the decor was lovely. I will be bringing my friends and family here in the future, the menu choices are vast and delicious! If we had not just spent so much money moving the days before I would have left a fatter tip. Next time!!! I really believe the people there deserved a big tip. 11/10 visit.

The only thing I buy in there is their butter tarts and they are superb. I am sure a lot of other items are good also. I have purchased the tarts four times and have never been disappointed.

Here is another review by the 3Râs gang. This time we travelled to Alliston at 34 Victoria st. east to experience a âlunchdinnerâ on a Tuesday afternoon at Kellyâs Kitchen. Hours of operation are 7:30am to 3p.m..The contrasting grey and white wall colors and the bar, the wall mounted art and the comfortable seating arrangement really impresses you. We were there at 12:30 and half an hour later the place was full. The restaurant has been open for over two years and seems to have a regular clientele. The long bar is also very well designed and should appeal to single customers. Our server had a good sense of humor and did her best serving our table considering how full the restaurant was. The food has an interesting mix of 23 different items to pick from including some gluten free items. Many of the offerings are quite different and imaginative compared to usual pub foods. None of the pricing exceeds $15 for a serving. Salads and soups, House made burgers, Cold sandwiches and wraps, hot sandwiches and tacos plus 2 entrees. The choice is large and the prices are inexpensive. There was 7 of us at our table and at least 5 were very satisfied with their choice and 2 were a little less so. All things being considered, this is not a fine dining restaurant but certainly is a fine place to eat and drink from a decent collection of wines. Try it, you might like it.

Best chicken and steak dinners have had in so long. Appetizer was superb. Prices are reasonable. Service was excellant. Kevin is very knowledgable and pleasant. Atmosphere is relaxed. Clyde is an exceptional chef. Will be frequenting the steakhouse very often.Sandra
