Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

Chicken was over cooked wings burnt on white quarter dinner, fries and sauce not
warm enough. Restaurant very busy so no excuse for such a terrible meal. Waitress
was young and very pleasant, she knew I was not pleased but did not seem to care.
Will not return to this location

Based on earlier Trip advisor reviews, I made a reservation to celebrate my wife's birthday.
From the very personal & relaxed service, to the amazing, fresh food and atmosphere, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
I highly recommend Bistro Seven Seven...unless you're looking for a "quick" meal.
We will be return patrons, for sure!

It feels like going back in time everytime I eat there. A real "mom and pop" feel to the place. Average food with decent prices. It must be ok cause I keep going back. But seriously...how hard can it be to make bacon and eggs?

We've been eating here for a couple years and always have great food. We eat a lot of sushi at many different restaurants and this is one of our favs. The rolls are so good and super fresh! Shrimp and vegetable tempura is always delicious. Love the Philadelphia roll and dynamite roll! My only complaint I would love if they had tempura calamari!

My wife and I were on a brief getaway at the nearby Bona Vista B & B and Spa for our (2011) Anniversary and were looking for a restaurant for our evening meal. We did an internet search and settled on Mike's Family Restaurant on Wellington Street in Alliston... which turned out to be an excellent choice.The restaurant is a sort of sports bar with wall coverings of posters, pictures and various memorabilia of years of Mike's community support. Some great pictures of Marilyn Monroe are on the wall and I'd forgotten just how attractive she was. It turns out that Mike is also the chef... he was in the kitchen doing the cooking! The staff are all very friendly and like "family"... they seemed to know all their regular customers who were there.Supper was excellent and the steak and mushrooms I ordered was superb. My wife ordered liver and onions which she reports was melt-in-your-mouth excellent and far surpassed our usual place for this dish in Toronto!It was getting near closing time and Mike was out of the kitchen making the rounds and briefly chatting with his remaining customers who were universally lauding the expertly prepared meal they just had finished.His business card accurately boasts "Great Food, Great Service, Great Price" and Mike's is open Tuesday to Sunday from 8am to 8pm.We really enjoyed our first time, and we'll be visiting Mike's again next time we're in Alliston.Graham & Beverly /NewtonToronto, OntarioNovember 2011

I recently met a few business associates at Mike's Restaurant in Alliston. It's not on the main road but it's easy to find. I find that Mike's is the perfect spot to meet for a quality breakfast. It's good ol' comfort food. You can't beat the price and the service. It's the perfect location for an early morning business meeting and a great way to start the day.

I am now vegetarian ,BUT I made sure that this burger was the last piece of meat I ate. the burgers are great, fries are amazing. Good skate flicks on the telly. 10/10Thanks for making us your last "meat" meal! Hope to see you back to enjoy all of our vegetarian options!!
