My partner and I attempted to have dinner at U Franziska on 15 November 2018. Right before we entered the restaurant, a group of approximately twenty was seated. The restaurant no longer had seating, so we were unable to get dinner here. Additionally, the hostess didn't seem to speak much English (if any). Nice small brassery with coffee. Perfect location, friendly stuff. Can tell you with pleasure about each menu position. Interior is pretty expected. Near the windows places are not comfortable, as per position of seaters (back to window, upfront to kasse). Bad the main disadvantage of the place is cold coffee and slow server croissants also cold enough. That is really bad. No difference in price whether you buy for go away or served in place. Served yesterday's food, heated up a little. Hopefully, it wasn't from someone's unfinished plate. My 3rd visit to that place (only due to it being close to my work), and for the third time I'm promising it to myself to never even think about going there. Rubbish interior, too.

Nice place, with an amazing menu! Food is great, and the staff speak English very well. nice background music mix of Russian and English. It is very friendly atmosphere and very accessible. We had breakfast there with my husband. It is not expensive, food is plain and ok for that price. Would recommend for simple food lovers. We sat outside which is quite comfortable but very close to the street. The inside looked a little bit more interesting, but with no windows.. :/

Enjoyed dinner here and had the very tasty and well prepared duck entree with a nice bottle of wine. Great vibe, high level of service and great people watching. I'm inspired to try their breakfast some time but have only dined here for an evening meal so far. Great wine list and a very fresh and Western style environment. The sign is almost non-existent so don't give up looking for this place very close to City Hall and Gambrinus pub. I'll return and return often. Love this little jewel.
