Visiting Traktir was without a doubt the single most fun experience I ever had in a restaurant.It has everything you can hope for: amazing typical food, a lovely environment that reflects the countryâs traditions and really good service.We were overwhelmed with the kindness of everyone. The food is beautifully displayed and they make you feel like you have arrived to a very lively and fun party. Itâs so well thought of.This was the best experience I ever had in a restaurant. My boyfriend and I really hope to be able to come back one day. Plus we were lucky enough to be there for a typical Belarusian birthday party and it was so much fun and interesting!If you are in Minsk, do not miss this pearl. We had dinner here and were quite satisfied with the food. We were a bit surprised by the very high prices of the bottled wines, but wines by glass were reasonably priced. The waitress spoke excellent English, and was very nice and looked like she enjoyed her job. However we had to wait very long for our dessert.It is a bit strange to have the names of international newspapers that are not available in Minsk on the wall, and as in many other restaurants in Minsk the smell of cigarette smoke destroys the atmosphere. The most annoying thing was actually the music. It was the worst kind of traditional jazz which was really horrible. Otherwise we would have given it a four, since we were quite happy with our meals.Maybe Belarusians like this kind of music, but we certainly don't.

Centrally located, nice terrace and most sympathetic cellars offering a great, local and international selection of craft beers!Due to central location a bit pricey and slightly touristic but happy waiters and nice atmosphere compensate more than enoughBelmontcarlo!We are really glad that you have enjoyed your visit! This place is fantastic. Very well positioned, excellent staff and tasty and well presented food. No doubt very expensive by local standards, but very good value internationally speaking. Portions were a bit small (quite normal for a restaurant of this caliber), but the bruschetta was massive, and my wife who is a real food connoisseur said it was the best bruschetta she had ever tasted, also said the mille-feuille she had was also amazing. Everything else we had was also very tasty and well presented. They had a very extensive selection of food, drinks and sumptuous desserts. It was GRAND cafe.

Kuhmistr is on the ground floor of an anonymous block, but inside affects a brick-arched rusticity. The menu had an English section, and at least one of the waitresses spoke our language. Sticking to what were described as Belarusian specialities, I ate vereshchaka and my wife kolduny. The former was a dish of bits of pork and sausage in a cream sauce, served with little pancakes (to be used to scoop up the hash, but I didnât); the latter were like oversized meat-stuffed pierogi with a cheesy sauce. Local beer for me (a brand called Rechytsky), a glass of Georgian wine for her, both acceptable, neither amazing. The place filled steadily as we ate, mostly with locals so far as we could tell. The TV on the wall, sound thoughtfully turned down, was showing Belarusian cartoons, all wily peasants and talking animals, Baba Yaga meets Brer Rabbit.Three stars may seem a bit grudging, but I come back to my usual grouse about TripAdvisor's rating system. Three stars ought to mean good, not average; in this case it certainly does.Well, it is a great pity for us that you've come back to usual grouse about TripAdvisor's rating system right at this review. Of course we should have preferred it would happen 1 or 2 reviews later. Thank your for the last phrase, about "good, not average"; and have a good stay in Belarus anyway. Yours sincerely. Kuhmistr.

Checked on internet about best restaurants in Minsk and asked as well guides and hotels stuff. One of the best (top 3) was Kamyanitsa. It was excellent! Very good food, many choices, English speaking waiters and menu. Highly recommended. We made the reservation via our hotel and I think that it is absolutely necessary during weekends.Thank you very much for a good review. We will be glad to see You again.

Went here for a few beers - very nice relaxed ambiance. Smoking room outside but I still smelt a bit of smoke in the main room ((( I think they need to move with the times - smoke outside please!! Enjoyed dinner here and had the very tasty and well prepared duck entree with a nice bottle of wine. Great vibe, high level of service and great people watching. I'm inspired to try their breakfast some time but have only dined here for an evening meal so far. Great wine list and a very fresh and Western style environment. The sign is almost non-existent so don't give up looking for this place very close to City Hall and Gambrinus pub. I'll return and return often. Love this little jewel.

During my first visit to Belarus, the friend of mine invited me to Beef&Beer to watch one game of football World Cup. I really liked an atmosphere, great snacks and wide beer selection.
