been coming here for few years always been good value for money but the last couple of times weve been I think prices have risen and portions smaller the menu choice is quite poor to previous menus and wish would bring back surf and turf or scampi meal and curries or ribs and chicken dishes-bar tables quite empty the other night-wonder if other people thinking the same

Aimlessly driving looking for somewhere for lunch we happened upon The Camerton. Really glad we did. A lovely meal and they went above and beyond to sort us out with a Gluten Free Option for the Mrs. I had the Barbeque pork. Very Very Tasty. We have been here several times and will come again and again. The food is beautiful all home made . Cant fault a thing. The staff are so friendly and helpful . The pub itself is a really nice pub and very central.The prices are fantastic for the quality of food and the location. You will not eat better in the town centre for this price. This is a place staff are great and food is lovely. Our waitress tonight was jade and she was friendly and as we are regulals here we love all the staff and the manager noreen is the best she runs a tight ship and we love coming here. Thank you papas for another great night.

I go to Simples quite often for lunch and find it a really nice place to eat. On a nice day it is great to sit outside as there are lots of tables. The breakfast is really good and there are some nice toasted sandwiches as well. Maybe the only advice is a slightly more varied menu - I rememeber one of my first visits some time ago and there was a special which was a pie, veg and potatoes/chips and this was lovely! Something similar on the menu would go down well for me.

So we have been to this restaurant 10 times now- weâve seen the photos of the fab desserts but, sadly, havenât been able to fit them in. Weâve had everything on the menu between our family. Itâs all been consistent standard and beautiful. The white thick haddock, the gorgeous gammon, the lasagne, garlic bread and our favourite steaks with a side of generous scampi and home cooked chips. We brought extended family on visit 7 and we canât get rid of them!! They love your food and we love their company. Thankyou Stewart and Lisa for making this place the best ever. Your staff are superb and your chefs very talented. We travel 10 miles every time to visit you and itâs worth it every single time!Oh, and the Sauvignon Blanca is gorgeous

Having already visited the place by way of a surprise a few weeks back, a return was made today, more due to escaping the pouring rain and finding shelter. It was smack bang in the middle of the lunchtime rush so I wasn't optimistic of getting a place for my wife and myself. Sure enough, not a spare table available but was asked if we didn't mind sharing a table with another couple. We did, and experienced first class service by the efficient and busy waiting staff. Just light bites on this occasion, hot sandwich coffee.A bustling venue with preparation and cooking of food visible to all. A lively atmosphere and a general feelgood environment. Pricing more than reasonable for the food on offer.Seek the place out if you can, you won't be disappointed. When good places like this start up in Hull, for some inexplicable reason they seem to not be around for too long. I hope this place bucks the trend and is around for a long while.

Recently visited this cafe and it was actually perfect. The service was impeccable and they made us feel welcome. The coffee was great and plentiful. However the food, oh my, the food was incredible for such a small establishment. The menu and its items were put together carefully and brilliantly and was perfectly cooked. We have already planned to come back another day later in the evening for the live music and a few drinks. An absolute gem of a cafe and perfect hosts.

Have read that these are really good fish & chips, finally managed to try them for the first time today. Can honestly say they were really yummy. Great value for monâ¸ey to feed my family.The chips were perfect, no bad bits like other chips shops, cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning.Thank you for the complimentary tomato sauce, chip spice and vinegar, a great addition to our meal.
