Top 10 Bed and Breakfast Inns in Yerevan, Armenia

May 3, 2023 Janette Largent

Long fought over by warring empires, the city of Yerevan survived centuries of foreign occupation, finally becoming independent with the fall of the Soviet Union. This capital city, a center of Armenian culture, has celebrated its freedom with a flurry of construction and a growing population. Despite this push forward, history survives in Yerevan - The Institute of Ancient Manuscripts houses books dating back to the 9th century, and the ruins of the Erebuni Fortress, built in 782 BC, still stand.

Visiting Yerevan for a Week

A great place to stay. Kitchen staff, front desk and even cleaning crew are very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Variety of the items in breakfast is much more than a 4 star hotel in North America and yet I asked their chef to make me a western omelette lol (in the picture). Definitely delivers as a 4 star hotel. Room for improvement in my opinion would be the quality of the mattress of the extra beds in rooms.

Nice professionally run hotel

If your looking for a quiet slighty out of centre hotel, then you'll find this a good choice. The hotel is nice with a good standard of service from friendly people and a 24hr kitchen. The hotel is a little out of the centre and built around a central courtyard with private parking for the guests. Rooms are spread over two floors, the ground for smokers and the first for non-smokers, I was in room 14. Its a nice small modern hotel with both standard rooms and suites, both are cheap for western standards and includes breakfast. What's nice here is that there are no specific times, you just phone and they bring to your room wonderful. As well as the 24hr service it has a small but very nicely appointed Spa area with a small pool, jacuzzi, sauna and relaxing area where you can have a snack or drink while your there. As taxis in Yerevan cost little, for me it was only 1000dram (2 euro) from the city centre to the hotel, the fact that its not central did not matter. Taxis are best ordered via the Yandex app which allows you to enter your destination in English and to know the price before you start (like Uber). They have all sizes of beds to suit all wishes and the bathrooms are well appointed with a the expected facilties including slippers and bathrobes.

Brand new nice and clean hotel with super friendly staff

This hotel is booked by our tour operator. We stayed there for four nights. It's bit far from city center but easily accessible by taxi. Delma mall is in walking distance. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff is very cooperative. They makes their best effort to fulfil your requirements. Nice view of mountains from hotel room. Breakfast is good. Only improvement required is their resturent. No room service is there. You have to arrange your own tea, coffee, lunch and dinner. I will recomend this hotel only once their kitchen is fully operational.

Overpriced, tiny, loud, but great location

Reviewed By Leftseat75

First room we were put into it was so tiny we couldn’t even stand up above the bed and banged the head every time. Also the bathroom was so tiny that the shower was literally between the sink and the toilet and the entire bathroom floor was wet at all times. Then we were put in a different room in a different part of the hotel. We were jetlagged from a 12 hour trip and the entire time during the day there was construction so loud we could not fall asleep for a second. Then at night there was club music blasting downstairs until 4 AM. Needless to say we did not sleep a bit. The staff was completely unapologetic and charged us for two bottles of water (we thought were free, no sign it wasn’t) instead of a discount. It would’ve been fine if the room wasn’t so overpriced. It was a price of a brand hotel but the quality was that of a really crappy mini hotel.

Staying at the Bridge hostel was an amazing start to our trip to the Caucasus. Gagik and Karine are the sweetest, welcoming couple and they made us feel right at home in their hostel and in Armenia. They took such good care of us and put so much love and effort into everything they did - from making (delicious) breakfast to helping us plan our trips to different sites and cities. It was such a pleasure staying there and we would definetly recommend it to anyone!
