One of the best experiences we had in Armenia!!!
Reviewed By Elena KThis family guesthouse was a place where we could feel at home. We stayed there just one night in May of this year but I still remember our stay there very often. All members of this family are so kind, warm hearted and welcoming. They answered all our questions and were ready to help when we asked for their advise. The dinner was really fantastic!!! Without any doubt it was the best food we tried in Armenia! The table was covered with so many tasty dishes!!! We asked to take some of them for next days' launch and it was a little bit too much for even 2 meals :D Thank you so much for your hospitality! We hope to come back one day!

Excellent stay
Reviewed By 208tateviktVery clean, friendly service. Easy to find. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. There is a beautiful fireplace in every bungalow and also a clean sauna and pool. The owners have a really nice friendly dog and two kittens for kids to play with.

The worst Host ever
Reviewed By narine1991My friends and I (in total 4person) were very tired of the Coronavirus pandemic impact and we had no choice but to manage our possible rest in the scope of Armenia. We had many beautiful versions but stopped our choice on the Orran rest house in Dilijan. It is said on booking.com and other places that this is a very cosy place with nicest host and warm atmosphere. Totally bullying all those that plan to stay here for a while. Firstly the Host mixed up our rooms with another guest. It meant we had to stay on the first stage which is the worst decision for the people with allergies. Secondly when we demanded our rooms, which were meant to be given to us the Host (Ms. Nelly) in very impolite and rude way tried to put the blame on us, lying both to us and other guest. Instead of trying to figure out and smoothen the situation, she started to lout in a very unacceptable manner and not willing to here our arguments on JUST GETTING OUR ROOM she told us to leave the Place because she didn’t like us. Also she tried to cheat by saying that from the very beginning we asked for another room. In other words, everyone except her has fault in the situation of refusing by her to give us our rooms. After we decided to leave as the Host told us, she was repeatedly stating that she has so many good reviews that our review will do nothing with it and she can do whatever she wants. We just told her that she should try to resolve the problem she created herself and not to order her guest to leave, in case they have planned their stay and rest and are unexpectedly refused for their stay. Good job Ms Nelly. Will do my best to let all your future guest to get to know you before you manage to mess up their rest. Best, Narine

Good hotel which is stil being build
Reviewed By gersonv180Although the hotel was not finished, we had a good stay here. There is the old part of the hotel, and now they are building an extra building (where we staid). The hosts are friendly and help you. The rooms are clean and spacious with nice balconies. The bathrooms are also clean and good. Only some of the furniture had some issues (falling apart). The beds are very comfortable. As a hotel needs to be. The location is perfect with a little hike to the old town and the main round-about. Good breakfast too! This was so much better that another B&B we left behind searching for another place! Actually, the day before the owner of the hotel helped our taxi driver finding this other B&B...

Very good hotel in Dilijan!
Reviewed By Italian_sandstormVery nice hotel! We got (2 couples) 2 bedrooms with a nice living room and 2 bathrooms. It is very central and close to everything (restaurants, mountains, bus stop). The owner has a car and you can "use" him as a taxi.

Nice view, bad experience!
Reviewed By animkrtchyan88We have booked a family room in this hotel for 3 nights to stay with five friends. The family room wasn't a room actually, but a whole floor with 2 bedrooms, 1 sitting room and a bathroom. It is funny that it's called a family room, as it was on the 3rd floor with wooden stairs (No kid under 4-5 would climb up those stairs) and no door)) Neither of the bedroom or bathroom door locks were functioning. The bathroom is a separate story, it was under the roof, cold. There was an old shower cabin with broken doors and no water drainage. The bedrooms were not bad, just there were a bunch of holes on the sheet. We decided to change the hotel after the first night's stay, as it was not possible to use the shower at all. Another thing worth mentioning is that we have paid 20% deposit when booking and they asked for the whole stay payment during the check-in as per their policy. So as we decided to change the hotel, they offered other rooms to us but as those were not available for the whole stay, we had to change rooms every other day, so we rejected their offer. First they refused to give our payment back saying that they have offered an alternative to us, then the manager made some calls and returned our money for the remaining days (Thanks to David, the manager). The most annoying thing is that they offered this awful room to us when there were other better rooms at their hotel when we were booking it, at least they could have offered one of those to us to avoid this bad experience. Anyway, I hope they will improve their service and make some reconstruction works for their future guests.
