It’s only one hour away from Colombo. The food is awesome. The staff are so friendly. , the rooms are spacious and clean , the pool and the large garden is so well maintained. Serene location to go away from tourist hype
Reviewed By nikitad857Very nice location if you want to taste real Sri Lanka, away from mass-tourist areas. Peaceful surroundings with small Buddhist monastery just around the corner, with wild nature literally looking into your window. Fresh food, clean rooms, nice personnel. The beach is bit away, but 5-minute drive on tuk-tuk is on the house. The beach itself is awesome - endless, serene and beautiful. To-go place if you want to see regular local life and relax.

Reviewed By ZinamonKveenThere was little to nothing wrong with the stay here. The food was great, both local and western fare. A lovely room, clean, spacious and with a balcony. As this was just as the country was coming out of lockdown there weren't other travellers and not too many staff around but service was not impacted by this.

Reviewed By Veterok_KОтель располагается далеко от дороги, в "лесу" и поэтому там спокойно. Красивая территория и чистый воздух. Домик - так себе, но чисто. Нет горячей воды. Пляж далекова-то. У хозяина можно заказать обед и ужин, который принесут в номер или накроют вам на веранде. Еда очень вкусная и очень дешевая. Отношение хозяина замечательное. Вывод: Прекрасный отель, что бы остановиться проездом на 1-3 ночи, если вы любите природу.

Reviewed By Hamish678We booked 4 rooms at this villa on a full board basis and it was very secluded and private,we had the whole place to ourselves .The rooms were tidy and upto the standard and very comfortable,however we were promised a set menu of food and some of the items in the menu which were promised was not prepared for us during our stay at the villa , the quantity of most of the items on the menu for our lunch and breakfast was not satisfactory and we had to request the kitchen to prepare more,the management and staff was quite friendly and welcoming ,they made sure our stay was comfortable but the only issue we had was the food because it did not meet the standards for the price we paid.

An unexpectedly lovely place
Reviewed By Cedric HI stayed here twice, three nights in all, and am delighted to have found it. It's tucked away rather improbably close to Wadduwa railway station - so the sights and sounds of passing trains is a fact of life here, but also close to the beach and to the centre of this small busy town on the main Galle road. Raj and Suresh welcomed me in a very friendly way and looked after me excellently during my two short stays. I used two different rooms, the downstairs one being somewhat larger and cooler than the other upstairs. Both were very clean and colourful and cosy and comfortable, without giving in to unnecessary 'luxury'. I enjoyed very good and tasty breakfasts and a dinner too. There are only four? rooms here, so the attention given to guests can be delightfully personal. Also in the guest house is a lovely small but very comprehensive gift shop full of handicrafts carefully chosen for their variety and colours. This guest house deserves to thrive and was a terrific discovery for me. And finally, it is extremely good value for money.
