Not the best introduction to Bulgaria
Reviewed By Sun_treaderI stayed in this hotel for a week in August 2012. I did not write any review then, but I now think I might as well write the first one. The main hotel building is decent enough, with a nicely laid out garden outside. The inn opposite (part of the same complex, but not of the hotel) is meant to look traditional and ‘folksy’, in accordance with the evening shows: dances, fire walking and the like. Being just on the main and very busy road means quite a bit of noise all day and night long. This may be annoying only if your room happens to be on the road side. Mine wasn’t, so I cannot comment on that. Traffic noise can be heard from the garden where people have their meals in summer (it was scorching hot then). It is more of a nuisance at breakfast or lunchtime. In the evening, music is far too loud to let any other noise through... Fortunately, the entertainment bit (same every evening) is all over by midnight, or even earlier, and thereafter I did enjoy quiet nights. The beach is a 15 minutes walk away. Forget about any view from your room. Rooms are OK in a minimal way. They certainly do not justify the high price. Much less does breakfast, which was among the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel: lukewarm, rather tasteless (instant?) coffee in thermos bottles (that were most of the time empty and that members of staff, present but oblivious of customers, did not care to refill unless you called them), a very basic assortment of ham, watermelon, fruit and indeterminate cheese to choose from (but mind the greedy wasps)... Meals in the restaurant are rather good, but those were not included (fortunately: the hotel bill would have skyrocketed). The resort is rather run-down, with extremely little to see or do. Be warned if you care: for a week I came across no Westerners there. The place (and this applies to the hotel as well) appears to cater only for Russian tourists, with a smaller turnout of Bulgarians or Romanians. If you like it crowded and full of ‘attractions’, then Golden Sands, another 10km from St Constantine and Helena, is the right place for you. However, everything will cost you twice as much there.

Reviewed By NIKK904Мы вдвоем отдыхали здесь с 13 по 20 июля Честно говоря готовились к худшему ведь мы заплатили всего 260 евро с доставкой автобусом из Украины Но эти дни пролетели незаметно и у нас остались только положительные воспоминания если не обращать на мелочи Конечно если вы привыкли к 4 и 5 звездочной Турции и Египту вам не сюда Это довольно маленький отельчик на 2 этажа Зато он находится в парке хвойных и лиственных деревьев где стоит хвойный аромат и где дышится легко тихо и спокойно Ветви деревьев прямо доходят до балкона и даже нет комаров Может нам повезло с комарами До моря идти 7-8 минут спокойным шагом в тени деревьев Пляж Small Beach радовал красивыми видами и морем с волнами Справа от него в 150-200 метрах находится причал с 1-2 прогулочными катерами Там закрытая от волн акватория волнорезом где ты можешь вдоволь понырять и поплавать без свистков спасателей Они спасают только в бассейне соседнего отеля Вечером можно погулять по небольшой дороге недалеко от моря По обе стороны есть ресторанчики и магазинчики Есть монастырь который стоит на источнике минеральных вод В номере чисто но без изысков По телевизору есть первый канал В номере есть маленький холодильник две односпальные кровати В ванной сток прямо в полу Горячая вода была постоянно Смена полотенец раз в 3 дня Но нужно напоминать Постель за 7 дней не меняли Кондиционера в номере нет Хотя его необходимость в нем сомнительна Номер находился в тени деревьев Хозяева говорят что на будущий год они планируют поставить кондиционеры в номера Завтраки довольно хорошие Были и арбузы и персики Нормальная колбаса и сыр Фета яичница сыр твердый и банница Обеды и ужины можно докупить на любой день 12 лев с человека за обед или ужин Но можно попробовать какое-нибудь отдельное блюдо Например рыбный суп или уха очень вкусная 2,5 лева приходят из других отелей Питаться можно по кафе или ходить в супермаркет который в 9-10 минутах спокойной ходьбы вообще если хотите спокойный расслабляющий отдых вам сюда

Reviewed By 707antoninakWe were pleasantly surprised by hospitality of the owners, the beauty of the yard around the house. Location is little bit far from the beach, however in 2 min from the Bus stop. Hotel is neat and clean, has all necessary amenities. The hosts provided the beach umbrella for our comfort, and that was very kind. My parents and I really enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back.

Avoid like the plague
Reviewed By ZeenusGaddAfter booking the hotel through Booking.com 6 hours before we had a lot of trouble finding the place in stinking heat. On arrival they refused to honor our online booking. Not only that but the staff were rude and did not speak English (nor Chinese, French, or Spanish) I don't expect every person in the world to speak every language but if you advertise in English to tourists its not too much to ask. We were certainly given the impression that they had simply sold our place to someone else.
