Lovely Guesthouse
Reviewed By Debra RThis delightful guesthouse is in a quiet residential area of Anuradhapura. The owners are friendly and helpful. Price is very reasonable. Home cooked food is always served with a smile. The Sri Lankan omelet with a good breakfast is recommended. I also had hoppers for dinner with a nice dahl and the onion sambal was delicious. The garden area is peaceful and relaxing. Within the guesthouse there are nice areas to relax, either on the balcony (with a cool evening breeze) on in the several areas inside. The room was comfortable with all amenities needed. Mosquito need was over the bed, but I did not need it, and I seem to attract mosquitos! This is a clean and comfortable guesthouse.

Tranquillity after sightseeing

Rooms very adequate size, simple and clean. the ground floor rooms have patio and 2 nice chairs. The swimming pool is nice. We liked the breakfast. It’s located 5km from ancient city and 7km from Minathale in quiet area, we really liked the fact that it was in the outskirt and quiet. Bike rental available, but the bikes could be in a bit better conditions. Hotel offers dinner with limited menu (which is understandable as it is small hotel).

Breakfast was lovely, and room really clean with mosquito nets (essential!). Make sure you visit the roof to see the view of the fields!

The staff were incredibly helpful and accomodating about meals, organised a very reasonably-priced tuk tuk and tour of Anuradhapura and Mihintale, and generally ensured our stay was fantastic. Would highly recommend!

Nice budget hotel but not worth to have meals!!
Reviewed By 19850715This is a small budget hotel with few rooms. Rooms are spacious enough and also clean and cosy. Some rooms have a balcony with paddy-field view. This hotel is close to main religious sites in Anuradhapura. However cannot agree with the price of their meals as this goes in the budget category. Meals are average but they separately charge for water and even charge for their service which is insane!! Will definitely go back but never will order any meals from them as their are plenty of nice restaurants nearby...

Excellent, comfortable stay and great food
Reviewed By Rougang84We stayed two nights with Sanjeewa and it was one of our best stays in Sri Lanka. Sanjeewa and his sister were very friendly and helpful and made delicious food. The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious and clean, and the environment was quiet. The guesthouse is located a short, ten-minute walk to a lovely lake (Nuwara Wewa).
