A fantastic little hotel with lovely staff and good food
Reviewed By simonmorley1986Where do I start... The staff were just lovely!! All of them, from the guys who do the taxi transfers to the hotel staff themselves. The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel is clean. The bar area is nice and it’s lovely to sit outside just relaxing. Food is VERY good and is up to the standards expected in a European hotel. Food is prepared freshly and is reasonably priced. Reception sell travel essentials if you have forgotten anything. I took a group of 6, 3 adults and 3 children and I Han honestly say this hotel is the right choice. A short walk away is a supermarket that is open until 23:00. My only slight issue is that as I had a group of 6 people this made it hard for the kitchen to serve meals at the same time. All the food is prepared freshly but you can be waiting a good 10 minutes for all your dishes to arrive (this did not really bother us a lot but could be something to be improved).

No-frills hotel, perfect to send a night between the flights
Reviewed By Leonid ZThis hotel is great for a short stay between the flights. Convenient transfer to and from the airport, friendly staff even in the middle of the night. The room looked a bit dated, but clean and totally fine for one night. If I wanted to nitpick, the bed was narrow. However, this hotel perfectly worked for me, as I only needed to sleep one night between the flights.

Reviewed By Olga DPoor response time and poor customer service. I reserved 3 days in advance and wrote to them with some questions. They responded to my questions & confirmed the reservation at 7:37pm on day of ARRIVAL. I wrote to them a bit later politely asking for a cancelation due to the fact that my flight had an unexpected big delay and that we wouldn't have time to go to the hotel before our next flight, but they refused to work with me. Obviously they saw it as a chance to make some free money rather than accommodating the customer.

Reviewed By olyastravelThis place is cheap . That's about it . Got the room with no lock or even a door handle on the inside . Toilet is cracked . Dirty. Bed doesn't have proper bedding on it . There was a blanket as I got it out I couldn't believe how filthy it was ! It had all sorts of stains on it , gosh I don't even want to know what they were from. It was dirty . Sheet was wet it's like they didn't have time to dry it . Lady at reception was lovely she's the reason I'm not giving this place a ONE STAR! I HIGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING THERE !

Reviewed By DarylJ552The Gorny Ruchej is a very nice hotel only 3 kilometers from the Boryspil airport. The rooms are very nice and the dinners and breakfasts in the restaurant were very good. There were no English TV stations but the WiFi worked fine. We stayed there twice and enjoyed it both times. They even got up at 4:30 AM and called a taxi to take us to the airport. The room rates are very reasonable also.

Nice and luxury, but let’s hope that it isn’t raining

The hotel has multiple spa rooms, full size pool, outdoor hot pool, massage, restaurant, etc. It’s kind of like being in an all-inclusive. The breakfast and spa were included with the purchase and were both very nice. The massage has to be booked in advance, especially if you stay over the weekend. One thing we discovered is that you really need earplugs if it rains at night. The noise is pretty significant due to the window construction. The front desk girls were really helpful and understanding and overall the service is pretty good.

We had a great time, the whole complex is filled with attractions,from a little zoo to ethnic houses like blacksmith, pottery, etc. The surrounding is beautiful. The nearest store is about a 20min walk from the hotel but that's the only down side i could think of. They have a big parking lot so we could easily park our semi Truck and there still was plenty of room. WIFI is also good, each house has its own gril spot / fire pit. Also a lot of places where children can run around and play. I will definitely come and visit that place again, but this time with my family and dog :) Luke

Reviewed By 500olgayIf you need to stay close to the airport, this hotel may be a good option. The room was clean and spacious. We paid for breakfast and that was a mistake. I would not eat at the hotel’s restaurant. There is a great restaurant across the street.

Weekend tennis and hospitality
Reviewed By Tony PWhat I can say. Hotel is not bad. Service good. Place advertising themselves as a tennis club. I called 4 days before and asked to find me a tennis partner. Or a coach to play. When a came there no partner or coach available. Looks like administrator which I talked 4 times over the phone said she will work on that. But ended up I found partner to play on a internet. My advice. If you can’t do it just say it. She waisted my time. I can go at deferent place. Just say we only renting court to players. I need to spend 2 days in Kiev before my flight. And don’t advertise place as a club. Other issue. If you planning to stay there on weekend not good idea. Because they always have some birthday or weeding party. On my days weeding party finished at 1am. And I need to get done myself and tell them it’s already 1am. Because they just sitting there and waiting for party to finish. Not good for your guests. That it. And food at restaurant not bad. Maybe a little over priced. Thanks
