Seventh Heaven Inn Rishikesh

Seventh Heaven Inn, situated in the peaceful and popular area of Tapovan, is a delightful, small hotel with spotlessly clean, comfortable, stylish and spacious rooms, all with balconies and en-suite bathrooms. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the Laxman Jhula bridge across the Ganges and the riverbank temples and ashrams, bookshops and cafes, yoga and meditation centres for which Rishikesh is internationally known.Seventh Heaven offers many of the facilities of a larger hotel combined with the cosiness and attention to detail of a small one; it has its own Yoga Hall and many other facilities. There is a cafe serving delicious food and drinks and and in the hotel, we are pleased to cater as much as possible for indivual tastes to make your stay comfortable and happy. In the vibrant, sometimes chaotic bustle of India, the Laxman Jhula area of Rishikesh offers a refreshing change - and our guests so far have described us as a hotel with a heart.

Perfect Stay for a few days

Reviewed By mildmilind

We were looking for a good homestay experience and this was just what we wanted. A perfect stay with a perfect host. The rooms were neat and clean, and yes very spacious. The staff was super nice and helpful. Their terrace has a yoga room to practice giving beautiful view of the mountains surrounding the property. The host was the very reason we booked the place for and he ensured our 4 days stay at the property was one of the best experiences of the trip we had.

Clean and large rooms (were had three Elite). Wonderful location. Lots of restaurants very close by. The restaurant at Lilac was very good in itself. We were there for 2 weeks and the entire staff, starting with Sridhar, Thimanna and Chef Vinod went out of their way to make sure that our stay was comfortable. Would highly recommend this place.

an underutilised place with huge potential

Reviewed By COK_ArchieS

You can book this place for the LOCATION and Service. Nothing else is outstanding about the place. If you are traveling as a group, this place can turn out to be fun, but for individual families, many things can be a turn off. For eg, instead of having larger bedrooms, they have huge lobby, kitchen, common wash rooms, yoga rooms etc for group travelers. And also no TV on individual rooms, but at a common room. While we were there, climate was pleasant as in not too cold for a jacket to be worn, and not foggy at all. Hotel grounds are under utilized. No outdoor play facilities for kids. Indoor playing facility too is limited. Food quality is average or rather below average for the price they charge. Buffet is mostly south Indian dishes only. Whats below is not something directly related to the resort, and they have limited or nil responsibility on the road conditions leading to their property. Access to the place is very pathetic. Never ever follow google maps direction, if you are traveling via adimali. It will take you places, where roads were just memories , even for the previous generation. We managed to reach the place in one piece only by mere luck and some driving skills. I damaged my cars (midsize hatchback) under body, and as an icing on the top, our car body got damaged by a log which fell from another vehicle while giving side to pass by. This happened inside the resort premises, as they have really narrow roads which is meant for hardly a car.

Amazing Property, Wonderful staff, good food - Memorable stay!!

We had one amazing experience. We went there as a family vacation with friends. Rooms - very nice, spacious, clean and the best thing was a common room that was attached to our 3 rooms that we had, which gave us together time also. Service - full marks to them, house keeping restaurants, reception, everyone was polite courteous professional and willing to help. Special mention to Mr Sachin Dubey whom we saw always interacting with all guests and kids to ensure they are enjoying. Food - Devent spread and good taste. Sweet could have been better but overall very nice. Location- it is 10 kms from the Mahabaleshwar city, 500 meters of little off track road. Pro is that you will get an amazing view and weather from rooms and the deck but only food available will be at the restaurant. Will suggest going for a MAP package. Amenities- here is where i will give 3 stars maybe. Pool Table tennis Foosball cricket etc were available but games were not at 1 place. Those were placed at the common area of different villas which made it difficult for us to explore. Pool was clean and swimming was amazing with the view from deck. We enjoyed our stay and will be going there again for sure.

Antares Beach Resort

An architectural showpiece with awe-inspiring views of the Indian Ocean and the perfect spot for guests to watch the sunset in the afternoon and experience casual dining. Chef Sarah Todd has created a 250 seat Australian themed restaurant at the top to experience casual dining. The cuisine is quite simple really; fresh ingredients, exotic flavors, classic cooking techniques with an injection of flavor through a charcoal grill. The property also contains 14 luxury Cottages with stunning ocean views making their way down to the Beach Club where guests can relax or play on the beautiful beaches of Vagator. The complex includes a retail fashion outlet with Australian brands. Our goal is to create a little bit of Australia in this beach paradise. The Resort is designed unlike any other, Rooms on the each floors are having different Theme/Look giving it an edgy feel. The best part is Party never stops here as our Antares Beach Club is one of prime gathering places and music is played throughout. One of the most famous Bars and Restaurants are also around us to capture young hearts and keep the vibes alive throughout your stay.

Great fun , beautiful property

We stayed at the Ocean Front Villas for 4 days. The villas right on the beach which is again clean and pristine. The rooms are pretty small but thats what you expect in a place like Goa where u have gone to explore and party. The hotel has a great restaurant with breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea with Mediterranean cuisine. Weekends are great party scene at that place. There is great music , good food , hospitable staff. We booked the hotel through bookings.com. What i mentioned to the staff is that there should a mention that the property has many stairs to reach the beach /ocean front villas from the entrance and also the hotel has high music which is heard in all rooms. These two things might not be appropriate for our senior citizen tourists or may be a particular set of people. All in all i would say we loved our stay and would want to be back there again.

A bit over hyped Botique hotel

Reviewed By SowmyaNirmal

We took two rooms, one for us as a couple with two small children, one for our parents. One was a Superior Luxury room and one was a Luxury room. The difference between Superior and not-superior was the availability of a bathtub in the middle of the room. Pros: The rooms were charming, nicely decorated with vintage photographs and old style furniture. The staff were courteous, always willing to help. Location, very very close to the Gateway of India. Cons: Ok we should be honest, this hotel would have been great for young travellers who dont have any specific needs. If you go with young children, you need to note - there is no bottled water as they are plastic free, no kettle to boil the water they give, which you generally expect in a hotel at this cost. Once I tried request for warm water from the staff and I got it in a very dirty cup sadly. If it is just us as a couple, we wouldnt have found this a big discomfort. Location - though it was a pro because it is close to attractions, it is a con because it is a very cramped road and the hotel is not visible at all from the road. If you are super comfortable in hailing taxis in Indian cities, you can manage. Sometimes Uber/Ola drops you somewhere on the road. Surprisingly, I couldnt find many convenience stores in the area that is supposedly a very busy market place. They did not come for housekeeping until we called. We did go out during the day, but when we came back the bed was not made and trash was not emptied. As they were a plastic free hotel, there was a beautiful copper water pot used as a trash can. Though it was beautiful, it was super full very fast. But once we called they did come and clean. Overall, we were having issues only because we had old parents and young kids with us in the trip. If you are backpacking travellers, you may love this hotel and have a lot of fun.
