Fantastic site to visit - unimaginable architechture, great theme show, diaorama and I max presentation. If any tourist, irresepctive of his religion or creed, has half a day to spare, this is a must see. It is one man's creation in five years totally with voluntary support. A monument which makes every indian proud!

Akshardham is one of famous temple or place to visit in leisure time.The architecture, Layout and the entire area is magnanimous and stunning. The amount of detail and effort that has been dedicated by the artists is just out of this world. The temple is an example of excellence and perfection. Once you enter the temple you can easily spend at least 5 hours to explore the temple and its beauty. Please ensure cameras, hand baggage and even cell phones are not allowed in the premises. However, the cloakroom service is available for all your belongings. The food court is neat and have a lot to offer. There are multiple stores where you can buy souvenirs and books. The boat ride and the show is really amazing. Parking, toilet facilities are free but one has to pay for the musical Fountain and other activities. The environment around and in the temple is so calm and relaxing

Visited Amber Fort with our guide, could not have done it without one. So many stories going back to the 1700s and such a magical place.
First we got to ride the elephant up to the entrance, you can only do this between the hours of 7am and 11am.
Over 100 elephants taking people up to the fort is a sight you won't see anywhere else.

We got there for sunrise, which I would definitely recommend. The hotel sorted out tickets out but there were a lot of ticket, tour touts around. They just start walking with you and try to get you to go with them, some said they could beat the lines in the actual Taj it’s self but when I got in there were no formal lines anyway. But if you want a guide it’s probably good.
Even when it was busy you still manage to get the perfect pictures of the magnificent building, (with a few carefully angled pictures) which is more breathtaking than any picture you see.
Defiantly go for sun rise.

The Khajuraho group of monuments was built until the 12th century, during the rule of the Chandela dynasty.
Up to our time, three groups of temples have been preserved. The main, most visited Western Group of Temples consists of more than 15 temples. The Eastern Group consists of about 5 temples, with most of it located in a residential area. Southern Group is represented almost by one - Chaturbhuj Temple.
All the temples are perfectly preserved. They have a wonderful carving. On several temples erotic scenes are cut out.

The double decker root bridge is definitely unique and the hike is quite beautiful too - if you're up for it. The first and last part of the trek are the most difficult, with about 1500 steep, continuous steps down a hill that keep going on and on. After that, you come across a village and the steps are a little more staggered. Then, you cross two streams, one on a shaky, narrow cable bridge and one on a broader, steadier bridge. And then you climb about 1/3 of another hill and THEN you reach Nongriat, the village where the double decker root bridge is located.
Both bridge and journey are beautiful with mountainous vistas, pristine streams and dense jungle. But getting there definitely requires both mental and physical stamina, so know your physical limits and come prepared. Water and snacks are available on the way, and there is maggi at Nongriat. Good sports shoes are essential for the tourist, and hiking sticks, which you can rent for Rs.20 at the entrance, are highly recommended. Guides are also available for Rs.600 but for just the root bridge, they're really not necessary because there is just one defined path.
It took us about 2 hours to go down and 2.75 hours to come down but we saw younger groups (one member of our party was in her fifties) go down in about an hour and come back in 1.5 hours.
