Every single member of staff we came across were so lovely, helpful and professional. We were looked after from the second we arrived to the second we left. Special thanks to Memet in the restaurant who looked after us and was always smiling. Whilst staying at the hotel we organised a boat trip on the hotel boat to go snorkelling, which was spectacular! Beautiful pool area, bar area to watch the sunsets and nice food. Would recommend!

Reviewed By edaugustinFriendly and obliging staff with a personal touch who go out of their way to please, including booking a snorkeling trip for us. All the staff wished Rosalind on her birthday (finding out the date from her passport), sang Happy Birthday to her and decorated our bed with 'Happy Birthday' using petals when we were out. We had breakfast on the sandy beach every morning with the sun rising behind Mount Rinjani. We could walk the short distance from the beach to the sea without having to use shoes or slippers as there were no corals on the beach during the time of our stay. The accommodation was good. A bedroom with air conditioning, bedside lights, fridge and a safe. Everything was on site or within a short walking distance. We stayed for three nights and could have stayed longer. We are located on the Tropical Island of Gili Air and offer various types of accommodation on this beautiful and tranquil piece of paradise set in the heart of Indonesia just off the North Western tip of Lombok. Gili Air bungalows are set within a walled garden area approx 200 meters from the beach and on the Eastern side of Gili Air, which enjoys the sunrise over Mt Rinjani. Set within this garden area is a swimming pool which includes a paddling pool ideal for young children.

Reviewed By Sian JGreat location, quiet as it is set back from the back (about 150m) but very easy to walk or cycle everywhere. It took us less than 10mins to walk to the port and about 3 mins to cycle it. The accommodation was great. I have 2 teens and as there were 3 beds (2 doubles and a generous day bed) in the room, we all had enough sleeping space and there was no need to swap who slept where! The breakfast was very generous and after the 1st morning we didn't order everything we could have because it was just too much food. They are connected to a bigger beach hotel and there is a room service menu that was great for the couple of times we didn't feel like going out again. Staff were lovely and although most didn't have much English, they always got someone who speak to me. My daughter accidentally left her necklace there and 24hrs after leaving I emailed them and they found it and are doing their best to return it to me the safest way. I would very happily stay there again. Lovely bathrooms, my shower had hot water.

The owners are just wonderful, very welcoming, caring & the hotel is really really well maintained. Perfect location, great food & great management. We stayed here for our honeymoon & it was magical.

Reviewed By DelisiTr4velI was looking for a relaxed stay and certainly found that at pelangi. I couldn’t recommend this place high enough. The new owners and staff were just amazing. So helpful with everything. The rooms are freshly renovated and are so pretty. I switched between the pool and the beach. Sometimes the tide is quite low so the pool is a great alternative. The food was really good and really appreciate the staff cooking me grilled fish on request. They organised a snorkelling trip for me Meno which was a highlight of the trip. Nothing was too much trouble for them and always went the extra mile to make my stay memorable. Thank you and look forward to seeing you again soon. I stayed in the sea view room which was delightful.

I is situated within good reach of the beach and all that is offered on the island. Breakfast and drinks were wonderful. The huts gave you all the accomodation and privacy you need. The garden houses in front of the garden are heavenly places to relax and enjoy some peace and quite. Ing is always there for you with good advice. (we were actually there in July 2018, but couldn't choose that option any more...)

Reviewed By Carmen G+ very friendly staff, you can book a lot there (transfer, snorkeling tour), rooms are simple, air condition works, lovely bathrooms (only „cold“ water - which is just fine), clean, quiet, mosquito net, good breakfast, room cleaning if wanted, not on the beach - you can choose a different beach every day Totally worth the money!! - mold in some corners in the bathroom (but that’s actually pretty normal I‘d say)

Restaurant Needs Some Loving Care
Reviewed By WayanrayWe went to Gita Gili Restaurant recommendation from local friend for pizza’s Whilst we enjoyed the 3 different pizza’s we ordered, service was not only slow but staff spoke little English. Thankfully our two local friends could communicate. However, we ordered 4 spring rolls and ended up with only 2. I noted that the bar had a few wine glasses and a few cocktail glasses, but they sold neither. Definitely want to get their act together re toilet. Sign asks you to remove your shoes. Sorry I am not walking through a pool of water in the toilet area, or falling over the broken steps. Needs attention before a guest breaks their leg. Also, clean up the rubbish around the area, gives a bad impression. I suspect this place is patronised mainly by locals, buying take away pizza.
