This ryokan a 15 minute walk from the main train station. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, showed us around the ryokan and gave us local recommendations, the owner even gave us a lift to a restaurant she recommended! The room was of Japanese style, it was big and clean. Beds were already prepared. The room has a private toilet and washing basin, the bath and shower were downstairs and were shared with other guests. It was old-fashioned but well-kept, we enjoyed it a lot. Breakfast was tasty and healthy, loved it!

Honestly never expect much for this 3 nights in Fukui but it was cozy and their just nice touch of hospitality. Not too close but their OMOTENASHI was really great. It is nothing much in surroundings but Local line is just beside this Inn and easy to access to city. Super market is close by as well. You may need to find out how to walk around first but if you get use to the environment, it is definitely value of money
