Reviewed By momo11512There are various hot springs in the Isawa health spa.You can go to there whenever you want.There is a pool too,so childrens can enjoy for long time.I think that not only hot springs but also service are good.I would like to go there again.

Classic Setting with Modern Twist

The lobby and gardens feels like you have travelled back in time to classic Japanese shogun house (assuming this is what rich shogun lived like back in the days - lol). Rooms are very nice and service was good too. Slightly pricey but it was a good experience.

Reviewed By Gene PThe hotel is typical native traditional hotel and spa with rooms authentically designed of native bedrooms. except for the somewhat lack of soft mattress, our sleep was relaxing and you get to experience the way the japanese live in their typical house. food was great and the staff accommodating and polite. Good hotel to have a good relaxing couple of days.

日本庭園と食事に大満足
Reviewed By MarianJ007日本庭園があるお宿(3000坪の敷地との事)で、お庭の美しさと広さに驚きました。ロビーから見えるのは一部で、歩けるので歩いて上に上がると、お庭は更に奥にあり、上から見ると圧巻でした。足立美術館庭園のようです。何度も、お風呂上がりにロビーで麦茶を飲みながら、庭園鑑賞していました。ロビーでは鈴虫が鳴いていて、夏の風情を味わいました。めだか(の赤ちゃん)も水槽にいて、館内に絵も沢山飾られていました。 部屋は少し古い感じでしたが、広い和室で広縁にはイス、テーブルもあり、快適でした。Wi-Fiも部屋で繋がります。 お風呂のお湯は無色透明で、男女の入れ替えは無しです。露天風呂 にとても大きなスクエアな岩がいくつもあり、個人的には、ゲゲゲのぬりかべのようだなぁと思いました。 夕食は部屋食で、素晴らしい夕食でした。天ぷらは夏らしくアボカドやトマトも出て、初めてアジの骨までパリパリの天ぷらを食べました。冷えた器のお刺身美も美味しく、茶碗にはもろこしやそら豆が入ってました。また石和ではあまり鮎が焼き物で出ないのに、出たので嬉しかったです。少し残念だったのは、お肉がなぜかパリっと焼けなかった事位です。 夕食が終わってお布団敷きに来て頂いた時に、石和温泉の花火が始まり、部屋の窓から見え、夏らしい気分が味わえました。ナイスサプライズでした。 朝食も美味しくて、ご飯はいつもは一杯なのに、２杯も食べてしまいました。ネバネバの盛り合わせや、食後はアイスコーヒーを出してくれるなど、夏らしい朝食でした。 ホスピタリティも良くて、また季節を変えて、美味しい料理を味わいに来たいお宿です。

人間味のあるお宿
Reviewed By MarianJ007コロナがはやってきて、つれあいが「しばらく旅行不可になるかも。」と言うので、それなら普段泊まらないような高級宿に泊まろうと意見がまとまり、こちらのお宿を選びました。 到着時は丁寧な接客でチェックインの手続きをしてくれました。 ところが数人スタッフの方たちは、ため言葉で会話されていて(私用ではなく仕事の話ですが）、それが丸聞こえでロビーでは何だかいごごちが悪かったです。名旅館のイメージがあったので、少しがっかりしました。 しかしながら、お部屋係りの方（食事担当も同じ方）は、とても美しく優雅な上、丁寧で心遣いが感じる接客で、つれあいも「さすが（名旅館）だな」と感心しておりした。同感です。 部屋は和洋室でした。テーブル椅子エリア、ベッドエリア、和室エリアがあり、二人では十分過ぎるスペースで、二人それぞれ別エリアでゆっくりしました。Wifiは部屋でＯＫ、部屋の鍵は二本、翌朝の新聞、洗面所にはアメニティーがそろっており、お茶三種類、コーヒーもありで、至れり尽くせりのお部屋でした。 一番驚いたのは、貸切風呂です。普通の旅館の大浴場位の広さで（露天は無）、もう本当にびっくり。古代風呂のようなステキな風情でした。貸切時間が50分あり、アメニティーもドライヤーもあるので、普通の大浴場のようにしかも二人で使い、とにかく贅沢気分でした。感激したつれあいは貸切風呂の鍵を返す時に、「あんなに大きい貸切風呂を使ったのは初めてです。ありがとうございました。」とお礼を言ってました。 しかし、つれあいは一般の大浴場のお風呂のお湯がぬるく長くつかってないと温まらない点がイマイチと言ってした。女性ならＯＫ位のぬるさでした。また露天風呂に始めに行った時は、葉っぱや虫が結構浮いており、また檜風呂のへりがぬるぬるしていて、ちょっとイマイチに感じました（翌朝は露天風呂のお湯はキレイになってました）。お風呂のお湯は源泉100％のかけ流し温泉とのことで、つるつるする無色透明の柔らかい良いお湯です。 湯上りには、ビールなどの飲み物が一杯飲めて、翌朝はヤクルトなどが風呂あがりのところに置いてあり、いただきました。この点は姉妹旅館の「くにたち」と同じでした。 個室でいただいた食事は、数々泊まった宿の中でも最高の一つと思われました。品数が多いことはさることながら、どのお品もそれぞれとても味わい深く、なおかつ大変美味でした。ゆっくりと味わい、会話もお酒もはずんでしまいました。最後のデザートまでとても満足しました。ワインは石和温泉なので、山梨ワインをＢＹＯしました。そう言えばかなり以前ですが、糸柳だけＢＹＯできなかった時があり（記憶にミスが無ければ）、糸柳宿泊は控えてましたが、今回は山梨ワインのＢＹＯできました（持ち込み料要）。しかしながら、ワインは思ってたよりそんなに高くなくて（ボトルワインも2000円位から）、ＢＹＯしなくても良かったみたいです。 朝食も美味しく満足でした。小エビ味あんの茶碗蒸しや、会場で作ってくれる卵焼きなどなど、どのお品もとても美味しかったです。 余談ですが、こちらのお宿内の「甲州かすてら 槌や（つちや）」というお菓子のベーカリーはお勧めです（詳しくは「槌や」に口コミ入力しています）。 さて、今回一番感激したのは、ベテラン社員（スタッフ）さんのお客様へ対する心使いやその丁寧親切な接客でした。始めて利用した私どもにも気楽にお話かけ下さったり、気遣って下さいました。宿泊するまではとても敷居が高いお宿のように思ってましたが、実は人間味にあふれた優しいお宿でした。またぜひ泊まりたいです。 High class Ryokan(＝Japanese inn or hotel). Super good dinner & breakfast and huge private bath. Very high hospitality.

Two nights
Reviewed By richardgG1237GWWe spent two nights in a huge room with our own private outdoor bath. They have 12 rooms and tend not to cater to foreign guests. The bathing facilities were disappointing (other than the one in our room) especially for the ladies. Quality of water is only partially the real thing. Staff was excellent! Food was relatively good with portions smaller than we are used to.
