Good location, cheap tiny room in Gadong
Reviewed By wallflower69Ensuite bathroom is the size of an airplane toilet ;p Room is very basic. We had to ask the staff for hot water shower and they came into the room to do a quick fix of the tap. But very close to The Mall, and the not-to-be-missed Gadong night market :)

An enjoyable family staycation

The staff especially Lucy are very friendly, helpful too, thumbup to their security guard they hav done a good job.The unit is very clean throughout, and our unit was spacious with everything that we needed. The apartment is quiet, and is strategically located at BSB, and within easy walking distance from the cube store /mini market and nearby/a bus stop. Highly recommended apartment to stay in Bandar Seri Begawan.

Reviewed By Randolf15I really liked to stay at Poni Homestay. The staff are very friendly and helpful so if you have any questions you can ask the staff and they will help you. You can also book any trips at the homestay. The rooms are very clean. Beds are also good.

Reviewed By abdulsalamaboutThe Villa Dadap is a well-maintained guesthouse in the deeply peaceful territory that is Brunei Darussalam. After the blissfully short immigration queue which is very characteristic of Brunei International Airport, we were collected by Mr Battista, the Villa's wonderfully philosophical Italian-in-Residence who later made us a superb spaghetti bolognese. Sadly, Mr Battista has left the Villa Dadap, and it will not be the same place without his relaxed conversation and culinary prowess. The staff of the Villa Dadap can take you sightseeing, whether you want to see nature, national monuments, mosques, or a bit of everything. If the staff cannot take you somewhere, they can quickly make arrangements with a local person who can. We decided early in the morning that we wanted to see the long-nosed monkeys on the River Brunei. An hour later, we were on a small locally-crafted boat on the river heading through dense forest. The pilot not only took us to see the long-nosed monkeys but afterwards he also showed us Brunei's water village on stilts where even the mosques and the schools stand on stilts in the river. Brunei Darussalam is a Muslim country, and guarantees a superb experience for Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Brunei's protection of its forests is a beautiful ecological example to the world. And the Villa Dadap is a wonderful little gem of a hostel inside green and tranquil Brunei. We are Muslims and the tour of the city which we requested included stops at beautiful masjids for prayer times, but the Villa Dadap is also perfect for non-Muslims from anywhere on earth. Anybody who stays at Dadap will enjoy the quiet natural surroundings. The Villa is situated at the end of a remote rural lane, yet is a reasonably short drive from the city centre.

Reviewed By NcH4The place I believe is somewhat new (some of the rooms upstairs are still undergoing renovation) and is located a little bit out of town centre of BSB (note: its rather difficult to find taxis in Brunei) Nevertheless the rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is basic but adequate. Free parking lots are available as well. Overall a good stay. With a competitive price tag, will definitely consider this place again for the next visit.

Really bad experience
Reviewed By Timmy0000We stayed just one night. Yes, I agree that pick-up and drop-off services are bad. There was no one staff member to assist us in bringing our bags and luggage to the room. We have to find the trolley and push it to the room by ourselves. The floor in our villa was also dirty. There was a lot of dust, and it made the soles of our feet black and dirty, like the floor had never been mopped. The plates and cups are yellowish. We had to buy a new plastic cup for us because the ones in the kitchen were disgusting. There was also a stain on the bed sheet, and lastly, the jacuzzi water was not clean at all and gross. The breakfast was okay. Some foods are tasteless and bland. Overall, they need to improve more on customer service and maintenance.
