My room is on a segregated floor in the hotel - quite the VIP experience with my own lift and escorted straight to my room upon arrival. The room was huge, basically a small suite with a living room and space to move around. The meals were lovely - I would recommend the Asian option for lunch and dinner, and the Western option for breakfast (you may need to specify this as they may make assumptions based on your passport). Staff and the duty manager were friendly and helpful. They even sent up a surprise birthday cake! Great value for money. I would definitely come here again for future isolation/quarantine stays.

We are offering the cheapest rates in the heart of the city, Bandar Seri Begawan. All our room rates are inclusive of complimentary breakfast, airport-hotel-airport transfer, early check-in time at 6am and extended check-out time till 4pm.

Reviewed By sandeepmuramenPerhaps the cheapest hotel in Brunei offering good clean , big rooms , with amenities like tv , fridge , free drinking water and safe ambience . The location is 10 minutes approx 700 meters away from Water front and the bus stand where buses from Kota Kinabalu and Miri depart and arrive. 500 meters from the local bus stand. The hotel has a coffee shop which sells set breakfast. They provide unlimited RO drinking water in jugs from the reception. Nearest restaurant around 600 meters . It is safe in Brunei so does not matter if you walk in the dark at night. Bonus, free airport drop off. I even did not know about it the reception lady informed me at the time of checkout or else is was going to take 1 dollar bus ride which takes around 45 minutes. It gave me time to visit the museum and buy some food to have at the airport . I suggest the hotel very much.

Reviewed By Randolf15I really liked to stay at Poni Homestay. The staff are very friendly and helpful so if you have any questions you can ask the staff and they will help you. You can also book any trips at the homestay. The rooms are very clean. Beds are also good.

Reviewed By pitchypeach13very upset that my food took way too long to be made. ordered a pasta dish with specific pasta request, at almost thirty minutes of waiting, then the waiter came out telling me they ran out of the pasta i requested. and i waited AGAIN, my food was the last to arrive. very upset. how could the kitchen team hasn’t noticed right away that they ran out of ingredients the second service team told them the orders? furthermore, i didn’t receive any apology concerning about my food. i was told that it was coming in “5/10 minutes”, but nope. didnt arrive as promised. first & last experience at this restaurant. not coming back. imagine, me and my friends were the only customers at the time. how will it be like with several tables? nightmare

The staff especially Lucy are very friendly, helpful too, thumbup to their security guard they hav done a good job.The unit is very clean throughout, and our unit was spacious with everything that we needed. The apartment is quiet, and is strategically located at BSB, and within easy walking distance from the cube store /mini market and nearby/a bus stop. Highly recommended apartment to stay in Bandar Seri Begawan.

Expect the Unexpected
Reviewed By Ms_Mijjwe checked in during mid of Feb-21. it seems nice hotel to stay when we look through the website. we've never got a chance to stay here since it's always fully booked. luckily, we managed to get an apartment and a family suite for our stay. it was our first time to stay there, we were surprised that the hotel services were not up to standard. such a disappointment when you see there is no proper service provided by the front desk and the concierge was not very helpful. the front desk didn't finish her checked in process with guests infront of her and she kept asking if her colleague can manage the other check-ins. ??? not to mention that they have no proper guidance to our stay. to cut short, when we checked-in to the apartment, it was a bit smelly. there are no kitchen utensils for cooking, there is no bath robe, no bath tub as mentioned in the website. moreover, the door toilet in the main room couldn't be close properly. it was stuck! not to mention, the wifi was very poor and we can't even use the "wireless cord telephone motorolla" that was provided in the room. we have to call the front-desk using our own phone and dialed the hotel number. what's the use of the phone if they can't be use, right?? we requested to move to another room, but they said it was fully booked. what surprised me, the room next door is available. we did not have a choice but to stay. luckily when we visited the other room, it has such a nice view facing the roundabout. but again, what disappoints us was that there is no wifi in that room. i would suggest for the hotel management to improve on certain areas in this hotel. please look through this.

Good location, cheap tiny room in Gadong
Reviewed By wallflower69Ensuite bathroom is the size of an airplane toilet ;p Room is very basic. We had to ask the staff for hot water shower and they came into the room to do a quick fix of the tap. But very close to The Mall, and the not-to-be-missed Gadong night market :)
