Reviewed By hmansoorThis hotel was a complete disappointment, the first thing the receptionist said to us is we are not a hotel but a Hostel, We told her straight away that she should not advertise itself as a hotel. The whole hotel had one staff on duty. The receptionist. Our room shower was broken, when i called the reception her answer was that she doesnt have anyone to fix the shower. The breakfast was a grumpy affair too. We had kids and their servings were too less in the so called buffet, when i asked for a refill in some pastries they pretended not to understand what we were saying, and as soon as another guest came to the dining room they refilled the plate and placed it on that guests table, We were fairly angry as we had been asking for refills for quite a while. This was a bad experience, Find something else if you want to have a good time in Bojormi

A decent hotel for one night
Reviewed By Natalia SThe location is great - very close to the train station and the entrance to the main park. Easy to find. The staff was friendly and the first impression was good. They even offered us tea when we arrived. The negative points are: there is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage on the staircase. The beds are very old and uncomfortable. We stayed there 3 nights and they never cleaned our room! The breakfast was ok but not more. If you plan to stay in Borjomi for 1 night, then it is a very good option. If you are staying longer, I would suggest choosing a different place

Reviewed By 978_zНовый гостевой дом, всего 5 номеров, есть 1 или 2 больших, где можно отдохнуть компанией. Здесь просто, чисто, тихо, мягкая постель. Приятная хозяйка, позаботилась, чтобы мы нашли выход к Боржомскому парку и нашли кафе, где покушать. Мы с друзьями остались очень довольны.

Downside - no curtains or blackout of any type on the windows. Place feels very new throughout Very recommended

Reviewed By Grant13I have given this hotel 4 stars due to its historical features and location, certainly the rooms are not huge, however they are 19th century rooms so to stay in a piece of history such as this there are some compromises. The hotel is right in the centre of the small town, with restaurants very close, they also have their own quite good restaurant. A few minutes walk away is the spring in the Central Park for which the town is famous. There is a sauna and spa pool in the hotel which you should book in the morning if the hotel is busy. Most of the rooms are upstairs, there are porters to carry your bags up, however you will need to climb 1 or 2 floors yourself to reach your room.

Like sleeping in the kitchen directly
Reviewed By B CI had the room next to the kitchen, which was awful and pretty much like being in the kitchen directly. Since this was the kitchen also used by the house owner, I could hear and smell everything. Also there was a window above the door which let in the light from the kitchen into the room at night. Furthermore, the toilet was next to the kitchen, so every time someone went onto the toilet, you could hear it as well. Last but not least, the room could use a new white painting, currently 70s wallpaper.

Host family is very friendly, Akaki helped us to plan our day there, advised "must see" places. rooms are clean, free wifi, and most of all, I loved panorama view from our room. Highly recommended Akaki's Guesthouse, we head really good time there.

Nice place, rude service
Reviewed By Line LIt is a really cosy house placed directly on the river. Good location but away from the busy street which is nice. Check out was at 12 but the cleaning lady woke us up at 10, and said she wanted us to go so she could clean - I find that really rude! Such a shame, Couse otherwise it's a nice place
