Invited by a friend and he suggested this place. It was wonderful friendly place.Almost too many suggestions on the menu, we eat our way through it The food was fresh and plentiful. Deserts were fresh and tasty.I would have given a higher rating, but it was borderline busy.It is worth the trip...

The unassuming interior is quickly forgotten. Went here for lunch. We were promptly seated and given menus. There are some 22 choices. Tried the ginger chicken with green peppers, onions and mushrooms. The ginger was sauteed fresh. The engaging waitress asked if I wanted it spicy. I went for four out of five on the chef's scale. It was all I could handle to still appreciate the dish. Had the small soup [salad option too] which was fine. Alcohol prices were reasonable. The food was of good enough quality for me to muse about pushing Thailand up on the travel agenda.

I had the fried chicken here and it was amazing. Although it was my first time and I was a little uncertain of what to order to quality of the food I did order was very good. Everything was freshly made. I need to figure some more dishes I might like to try but I will be back for sure!

Was told today when we arrived that in addition to the $2-$3 surcharge just because its the weekend, that there is an additional $2 surcharge because it's a long weekend and that there are no additional items added to the menu to justify this. Wasn't crazy about paying an extra fee for the same food on the weekend in the past but this 2nd surcharge is the nail in the coffin for this management tactic of charging more just because it's busy. I can't continue to support businesses with this mentality. They have also been increasing their pricing over the past few years making this weekend dinner almost $35 per person. It's just not right and there are many other options in the Niagara Region such as Big Tuna Sushi and Sushi Surprise and my favourite of all Asian restaurants, The Far East Restaurant in Niagara Falls.

Went there under recommendation from a co-worker....I was pretty much disappointed from the start. Décor is like ultra-modern, art-deco bar with TV screens everywhere. Restaurant or cocktail bar? You decide. The server spoke in a painfully broken English with heavy Asian accent. I had to ask him to repeat himself many times. We ordered something on the menu and after 10 minutes they said they were out of it...10 minutes. Two men came and sat down after us, and within five minutes...they were served four or five dishes even before our first dish arrived. Our main dish was not served even after almost a half hour...I asked the server where it was...he said it would be right out....another ten minutes...finally it arrived. The chicken was all bone and gristle...very little meat. The noodles were bland and almost no taste. We counted 15 pieces of chili peppers in the dish...but almost no heat. Very bland, very over priced. Service was poor, food was less that acceptable. I wont be back.

There are many good things about this place. The atmosphere is intimate and quiet, conducive for visiting. The service is polite. The dishes look really beautiful. However, the spice levels vary too much and the 4/5 level was a medium at best the last three times I have ordered. The biggest disappointment though, was how SWEET the dishes have become. I have specifically ordered two different dishes that I thought might be less sugary than the Pad Thai, but to no avail. The essential quality of Thai food that excites me are the different delicate flavours that complement one another and I find I am left less than excited eating here now. So I have to admit that this restaurant is off my favourites list now.

Never expected to find a restaurant to combined a mainstream romantic type of environment with gourmet Chinese food in st. Catherine. It is not even close to easy to find a Chinese restaurant with this environment and food quality in Toronto. Even service is very good and it is rare to find with Chinese restaurant. Food taste and quality are impeccable even I am a chinese. If you are a big fan for Chinese food. Give it a try.

Weâve been to Spicy Thai three times and they have never disappointed us. The food is delicious! My kids devour the calamari appetizer every time. It comes with an amazing house-made sweet and sour sauce. Our last visit was fabulous as well. We ordered the Tom Yum soup, Lemon chicken and the red curry. The red curry was my favourite. Fantastic flavour and a generous portion. The Lemon chicken was a bit over cooked; it was in the oil a bit too long but my son didnât seem to mind. Still delicious. We sat in the âtea roomâ âwhere you remove your shoes and sit on a cushion. Itâs a unique feature to Spicy Thai and a great idea. The kids thought it was cool. ( I wonât be doing that again. Itâs a bit tight and getting in and out of your seat is not elegant). We often recommend Spicy Thai to friends when they want an authentic experience. Do expect to spend a bit more time here though. Itâs a busy place and everything is house made. â¥ï¸

Oh my goodness! We love this place! The wait staff are so friendly and accommodating! The food is delicious and so fresh! The décor is hip, clean and almost as delicious as the food! I ordered the Zesty cheese fried wontons for my starter. My hubby ended up eating more than his fair share! (grrrr) so I ordered some more for "dessert"..teehee...soooo good! I also had the veggie rice which was delicious and NOT made with soya sauce? not sure what the seasoning is but its very mild and just...fresh! I love it! My hubby had the Pad Thai with chicken which he said was great. We also had the fresh squeezed passion fruit juice. Please try it, it will make your day!
