It was a bit of a push to get me to agree but was it ever worth it. From former cotton mill to a quality restaurant in just a few years is an amazing transformation. The Keg has long been a favourite place but it was always Waterdown. This time itâs St. Catharines. The menu is standard. Classics and Steaks. I usually have Prime Rib but I changed it up and had a steak. The staff was awesome. Helped me celebrated my birthday. Food tasted great. Remember to get a reservation. Itâs a very busy place. We got lucky.

This will be our second time dining at the Blue Mermaid, on both occasions the food was excellent and service was great, you won't be disappointed, its a bit pricy but then again they don't throw you out the door either, sit and enjoy your dinner. If its your first time the Owner might offer you the best seat in the house which is in the very back beside the kitchen door and inline with the servers desk, maybe you get your food faster I don't know this for sure but thats what we got on our second visit, great guy smiled at us when we left.

This was an excellent choice for a good Italian dinner while visiting Niagara Falls. It was attractive both inside and out. We made our reservation for 5:30 to avoid the crowd and that was wise. We were seated and served promptly. The chicken Parmigiana was excellent. The bread was not Italian but it was warm and crunchy. We would definitely choose Carpaccio's again.
