An offshoot of Thai Ivory on the Bedford Highway, the express version delivers the same sort of foods you'll find at the mothership location. I found it to be pretty good for fast food.

We heard praise about this restaurant and decided to have lunch just before Christmas evening.The waitress was pleasant and informed about the choices available.I started with a delicious mushroom egg drop soup which was too salty for my taste.My wife and I then had excellent vegetable spring rolls and stir fried vegetables with good portions of rice. My wife had hot water plus lemon to drink and I enjoyed the big tea pot of Chinese tea.We also met a longtime friend at this restaurant who also praised the quality of the food.The toilet was clean and there was ample parking space in this small shopping centre.

We decided to try Letâs Ko for lunch today and we are so glad we did. The restaurant has simple, basic decor, but was clean and welcoming. Our server was friendly and the menu had pictures to show the various dishes. We both had the Vegetable Bibimbap ($11.00 each). The meal came with a delicious bowl of Miso Soup and a side of Kimchi. The vegetable bibimbap consisted of a bowl of steamed rice topped with an assortment of tasty, fresh vegetables and a fried egg. It was so good, we really enjoyed it. We would definitely eat at Letâs Ko again.

This tiny restaurant offers warm, efficient service and the best Japanese food I've had in some time. Ika (squid) tempura is expertly prepared, as is the delightfully rich and flavorful broth in a large bowl of ramen, accompanied by a hefty portion of tender, well-made pork tonkatsu. The massive vegetarian bento box had so many items â miso soup, salad, agedashi tofu, tempura, spicy avocado roll and rice, served with multiple sauces -- that my wife was unable to finish it. Quality ingredients. Knowledgeable and attentive servers. Modest prices. This should be on your radar.

I have tried almost every sushi place in Halifax and this is my absolute favorite. The food is excellent, always fresh and delicious. The servers are always friendly and helpful. The New York roll is my favorite! They are an extremely busy spot so sometimes service can be a little slow but never enough to be a nuisance. Food always comes out in a reasonable amount of time, and always tastes great!

Called this restaurant to place an order for delivery, only to be told that they don't do delivery, yet they state there's a $2.50 delivery fee on the menu on the website. Unless, they're adding this charge to take out orders, they should probably update their menu so people won't waste their time calling.

Chose this restaurant (last minute, because I couldn't make up my mind) to eat out on my 50th Birthday. It isn't really a fancy place, but I'm not really a fancy girl. Our waitress Kim, once we told her it was our first time, was awesome! so informative with the menu which helped us decide what to order. The portions are great for sharing, but I really wanted to try the curry, and my partner is not a fan... so he got the Roasted Cashew Nuts with Chicken. I had the Penang Curry and we shared a medium size of the Jasmine Rice. We also ordered the Spring Rolls as a starter. Everything was very delicious.

Followed the TripAdvisor reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Original Chinese flavors, not massively westernized. I liked it but wasn't blown away. Simply very good but not exceptional.Service was good but why the rush. Let someone finish the starter before bringing the soup. Let someonee finish the soup before serving the main dish.

Tried to get take out here on Mothers day. I knew it would be a busy day for them so I called 2hr early and put in our order. When my daughter went to pick up the order it was not ready and she was told "10 minutes". She paid for the food and waited and waited checking every 10 minutes to see if it was ready. She saw people come and go with orders but not ours. Meanwhile we had a house full of people waiting for food to arrive. After an hour a told her just to get a refund and we would get something else. She was told "we don't do refunds" and forced to wait longer. Finally after an hour and half a lady jammed a bag at here and said "here's your order" without so much as a "sorry for your wait". When we opened up the bag at home it was completely the wrong order. Then minutes later the phone rang and it was Cha Baa thai calling. My wife picked up the phone and the lady from the restaurant said bluntly "are you picking up your order or what?". Clearly, they had finally made the correct order 2nrs late and not realized my daughter had already left with the wrong order she had been given and they were now upset we weren't there to pick it up! My wife filled them in on the whole situation and they said we would get our correct order anytime we wanted in the future. This did not make us happy as they should have offered to refund the whole order. Two days later i called to take them up on their offer of replacing our order for free and the manager todl me they would only give us half of what we had ordered since we did pick up some food on Mothers day. Are you kidding me? I promptly told them what they could do with their food and I will never set foot in any of their locations again. There are many other choices for Thai food in Halifax that offer much better service.
