On the plus side, this looks like the real thing - still.But I remember the food being better - maybe it's changed recently...A couple who sat down right after us got served much quicker - not that we were in a hurry, but it makes you wonder.My partner was going to order the liver & onions, but she saw one go past and changed her mind - looked thin and shoe-leathery.So she opted for the chicken pot pie...Oh dear...When the biggest chunks are the peas, there's something wrong. It looked like baby food. Even the diced carrots were cut smaller than the peas. Granted, it tasted of chicken, but it looked like the contents of a Gerber jar with an odd disk of flaky pastry perched atop. On the plus side, the pot pie came with a caesar salad, which was good.And I enjoyed my Reuben & sweet potato fries. Both were small portions, but quite tasty.On hearing my partner's description of the chicken pot pie, the waitress took it off our bill. And since the prices are good, we'd far rather pay full price and have decent food...

This food store is locate in the Sunnyside Mall in Bedford. The mall is worth another review but Pete's is an interesting way to buy food. Inside the store there are many unique and delicious food ideas, and outside the store smaller kiosk's. One of these kiosk's served Sushi which we took to our resort and ate later that day. IT was delicious! Pete's is as much an exploration of food ideas as it is grocery shopping. Oh and they have a large Scottish food area. Enjoy!

This is a semi regular neighbourhood haunt for my spouse and I and on our most recent visit we were once again, extremely well served. The gourmet pizzas are the specialty of the house and they do not disappoint in any way. We had both the Three Mongers and the Lumberjack. Both were extremely well crafted and delicious. The tart was outstanding and it sets a whole new level of desert excellence. Our server was attentive and very informative. Highly recommended for a very pleasant evening out.

i found the restaurnat very run down, carpet ,furniture and general decor, really need s an update. we has the chowder as it was highly rated, i would rate it in the top 10 for HRP but no higher ther are better and tastier selection,,,henry house, mckelvies, cafe chainti, rock bottom brewery and durty nellies to name a few great chowder spots take more than a sign out front

The atmosphere is always lively and good at Finbars. The selection of local craft and international draft is excellent. The food was well presented but slightly overcooked i.e. the fish was dry. The use of spices was very good. The waiter was excellent and very attentive.Thank you Thomas! We'll keep an eye on that fish!

Four of us went to this restaurant for supper and not one of us was disappointed in our choice. Two great appetizers to share (Risotto croquettes and Bruschetta). We each had a different main course, Chicken stuffed Ravioli, 8-Layer Lasagna, Penne Salsiccia with homemade sausage and Fettuccine with Jumbo Shrimp. Got to taste each others dish as the portions were a good size. Oh and we loved that the plates were hot so the dishes stayed warm right up to the finish. No room for dessert this time but will be going back.

Five friends had the most incredible lunch at this restaurant today! We were celebrating a birthday and the birthday girl always gets to choose the restaurant. We had all separately eaten there previously and always enjoyed it but today was even more spectacular. Gigi, our server is a gem and a naturally kind, friendly and so very efficient. I had mentioned that I didn't like the soup of the day which went along with my choice of sandwich. She went to the kitchen and within minutes returned to ask if I liked another kind and said that would also be offered. How often does someone take the time or care enough to do something like that. And it says volumes for the chef, owner, etc. to be so customer focused and wanting to please everyone. The food was absolutely amazing, so beautifully presented and the flavors were off the chart delicious! Fabulous on all levels! Thank you for such an incredible dining experience.

Just visited Upstreet recently with a large group and although the place is very noisy on a Saturday night I have to say this is the best place for BBQ in the city. We started off with nachos and loved the flavour with BBQ sauce on them. My partner and I shared a half BBQ chicken and mac and cheese and had plenty left over to take home.
