Tokyo is the epitome of frenetic energy and jam-packed cosmopolitan culture—it’s populated by 12.5 million people. Still, it’s one of the safest cities in the world, ensuring a (nearly) carefree stay packed with pulsing nightlife, succulent cuisine and endless city experiences. Four national museums, gorgeous gardens and parks, Michelin-starred restaurants, and kooky-chic street fashions are only part of what makes Tokyo so unique. Don’t miss the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art, the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden and the Gwen Stefani-lauded neighborhood of Harajuku.

Hotel Trusty Tokyo Bayside

A stylish guest room with contemporary modern interior furniture. Our guest rooms, like a modern hotel in New York, has a sharp design while having functionality at the same time, and are all equipped with Dube type beds. We provide you an ultimate relaxation space by a wide-size bed that allows you to release your tired heart and body. The lounge is a place for mature social interaction. The scent of fine ronnefeldt tea, which is loved by celebrities of the world, drifts in the day time, and in the night time jazz fills the area elegantly lit by candles and illuminations. The standing-style counter makes you feel space to breathe even if you come alone. You can enjoy your relaxing time in the sweet atmosphere around table seats. ※The photograph is for illustrative purposes only.

Fun Area to Visit

Reviewed By tttora11

Very helpful reception staff. Comfortable room. Spacious bathroom. South-west outside rooms have nice views of Odaiba skyline over the canal. South-east outside rooms face the train line (but noise-proof). Inside rooms face the central garden area. Hotel actually only has four levels even though it is physically connected to the twin-tower luxury hotel next door. Great base from which to explore the surrounding Odaiba & Ariake areas, either on foot or using the Yurikamome train (5-10 mins walk away). Lots of fun places to see and experience!

Super cozy

I had a best stay here. only 2 minutes to Shinjuku station. 2 minutes to all the big shops and restaurants in Shinjuku. Once you arrived, you will need to take off your shoes, use the sandals given. Put the shoes on the small lockers in the lobby, take the keys, give it to the reception upon check in. They will provide pajamas in the lobby, and you need to use it during your whole stay when you are in hotel premises. And change back to your clothes, and ask for the shoes locker key whenever you want to go out. Put all your belongings include suitcases at the locker, and go to your capsule. Pros : very clean, good service, 24 hours good onsen, 24 hours lounge where you can get delicious miso soup, so many kinds of soft drinks, tea, coffee, beers, and even red and white wine. D*mn. Not to mention thousands of mangas available. Free massage chair, smoking area available in each floor, comfortable beds. TV is available in each capsule. Cons : English skills of the staffs need improvement. Will be back!

Hard, noisy and uncomfortable

Reviewed By AquaRose84

I was looking to experience a capsule hotel, but had also been warned that there are some bad ones. It seems this might be one of them. Bed and pillow were rock hard and super uncomfortable. It was a noisy location and a lot of light coming in. Inconvenient to have lockers, showers and capsules all on different levels. Location was the only positive.

Solid chain hotel

Reviewed By Dreamer59016400170

This hotel is a solid three star hotel, but I've given it an extra star because it does nothing wrong. From checkin to checkout you probably won't see any staff - the entire process is automated. Even baggage storage is a do it yourself activity with a bar and flexible cords you can lock. The included breakfast was interesting because it contained many Indian flavored offerings along with nan bread along with many of the items found in a typical Tokyo breakfast. Our room, one of the smallest ones they offer, was clean and quiet. We managed to find space for our luggage, something that is not always true in Japan. I also gave extra weight to the fine location. In one direction you are only a few blocks from Kappabashi, the kitchen ware district. In the other direction it is a reasonable walk to Sensoji. Lastly, you are close to the Tawaramachi station of the Ginza line. This station has an elevator from the platform to the street for both directions. The one in the direction to Ueno is not obvious, but it is a great help if your train is leaving from Ueno station. I hate carrying luggage downstairs.

Better options out there

The guest house itself is at some corner, quite quiet if have to go back in the middle of the night or go out early in the morning. Best to let the owner know what time should he be expecting you so that you won’t have to walk around the area with luggage as there is no baggage storage service provided. Only shampoo, shower and conditioner is provided, so need to bring own toothbrush and toothpaste. Bottle of water is given as well. However there are some little insects like black dots on the bed, not sure if it is due to the fact that the room I got is on ground floor. Also it can be quite warm if you are booking a bunk bed after you screen the curtains. The extra room that was locked from the other side of the door leading to some unknown place is quite creepy as well, because one ain’t sure if anyone would appear in the room in the midst of the night.

All hype on the robot side of things

Reviewed By H3051EJmarcoa

We were very excited about the robot hotel but found it underwhelming. There are two robots at the check in and that is it. When you first get there you are like ‘woah check them out that’s freaky’ but you can’t actually interact with them until 3pm when check in is, you can’t get near them before that. The check in didn’t work.... we had to get checked in by a human lol. The room was tiny. Very good shower and decent products to use. The clothes refresher was a waste of valuable space.... not really sure what the point of it was. The internet in this hotel was good and quick. They give you a smart phone to use during your stay and use for WiFi. I didn’t take advantage of this unfortunately, but great idea...
