Tokyo Prefecture Onsens | Places to Stay in Tokyo Prefecture

May 23, 2023 Leonarda Pillsbury

Tokyo is the epitome of frenetic energy and jam-packed cosmopolitan culture—it’s populated by 12.5 million people. Still, it’s one of the safest cities in the world, ensuring a (nearly) carefree stay packed with pulsing nightlife, succulent cuisine and endless city experiences. Four national museums, gorgeous gardens and parks, Michelin-starred restaurants, and kooky-chic street fashions are only part of what makes Tokyo so unique. Don’t miss the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art, the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden and the Gwen Stefani-lauded neighborhood of Harajuku.

Stayed here in November 2019 (bit late with the review!) So much excellence - from the rooftop onsen, to the thoughtfully decorated rooms, the beautifully served breakfast to the fantastic dinner & excellent service throughout. I very much hope to visit Tokyo and stay here again!

Onyado Nono Asakusa

Recommended Japanese-style modern hotel in Asakusa

Reviewed By goic

TENNEN ONSEN RYOUN-NO-YU OYADO NONO ASAKUSA HOT SPRINGS This hotel is located just behind Hanayashiki, the last amusement. The recommended points are the large communal bath that heals the tiredness of the trip, the Japanese-style breakfast, and the hospitality that welcomes guests. It is lacated in covid-19, and it was fully booked with Japanese guests, so when you can come to japan, we recommend it only to the followers of TripAdvisor in secret, so please refer to it.

Terrible service - Be Warned

Reviewed By Gavin_Wawa

Partly my fault in mistakenly booked for 1 instead of 2. Be extra careful when booking. Had to pay 50% extra for 2 person BUT BUT, can't change booking via on line booking, had to re-book AND lose original payment. BAD End up having to pay extra US$60!!! per night, NO Breakfast With that, was given a room the same size as for 1 person. Robbery? No allowance given at the front desk and no help given - absurd! Furthermore, room cleaning is extra $15 per day - should have mentioned in website Website Extremely bad experience. NOT RECOMMENDED

Super Hotel Premier Ginza

10 out of 10 !!

Reviewed By fazlinjacobs

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in January. We had an amazing stay, right in the heart of Ginza, there is a metro station right outside the hotel, with the main line just being a mere 5 minute walk from the hotel. the room was a bit small aswell as the bathroom but small bathrooms are basically standard in Tokyo. other than that we had a lovely stay the best was the hot springs where one can used to destress at the hotel in the evenings after a hectic day out ! complimentary ammenities are also available in the hotel lobby, such as shampoos, face masks, face cream, bb cream etc. the list is endless ,each guest is allowed to take 5 complimentary ammenities each day. highly recommed and would definately stay at this hotel when next in Tokyo, also very convenient if one takes the Narita Express Bus to the airport.
