The dining rooms are nicely restored. The service is surprisingly so given that we pre-ordered the meals for our group of fifteen. That said, the Angus filet was very well prepared. I would not go back here to be honest. The service was poor, the food was OK. We stopped here for dinner and wished we had gone somewhere else.

Great beers, food and service by the owner George and his team. I would highly recommend a visit if you are staying in the airport economic area. The brewery is just a short walk from the Crown Plaza hotel

Came here for a brunch as was craving for something western. Had a kids play area which was great to keep the kids entertained while waiting for food. The menu for brunch was pretty good. Only thing was that I ordered some stuff from the kids menu but the waitress brought the full sized one but since she was a trainee, I didn't want to make a fuss and accepted it. After eating halfway, found a strand of hair in it and got the waiter to take it back. Then they made a new one for us.Overall experience was quite good, just need to get better on the side backs.

Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant because of its delicious food and relaxing, classic atmosphere. Service is very attentive. Occasionally the restaurant would host international food festivals and different food from other countries would be served. Last time I was there it was a Russian theme, so I had plenty of really authentic Russian cuisine! From the windows also you will be able to see the skyline of the rising skyscrapers and western style grand mansions on the other side of Hai River. It's going to look really beautiful once they're completed.

Dined here a few times, including a Sunday brunch. I thoroughly enjoyed the decor, service, and atmosphere. On a clear day you can go out and enjoy the beautiful views of the Hai River. Compared to other hotels in Tianjin such as the Astor or the Westin or the Sheraton, the food options are not as plenty but the quality is unbeatable, especially the dessert. There's also foreign staff working in the restaurant so it creates a fairly international dining environment. The assistant manager in the hotel.who.happen to meet here in the bar, colin, is.very helpful and very good. Bar have good.selections.of cigars.and.wine. the band performed.very good.songs.in english and it sounds incredibly good. The smoking room is not too.comfortable.not like at the regular sofas.and tables. We were served a "Chateau Leselect" Riesling french wine priced at over 50USD a la carte menu (from Alsace region, border with Germany). This wine is supposed to be white but on the bottle it was written "Cote Rotie" that is a name of a french red wine in Burgundy. The taste was just disgusting and we returned the bottle. When we asked the German Chef, we have been told "this wine comes from Shanghai"...For this class of hotel chain, it is very surprising to discover this kind of things. Besides that the service was poor, the bottle did not come cold or in glass, opening the bottle was a real challenge.The food basic arrived cold and not in order for everybody. Staff were great! Very friendly, helpful! Very accommodating. The breakfast had a good variety for Chinese people. Would not say it was good for Western people. It had the basics like bacon and eggs etc. However the food was old and not fresh. The sandwich was so old the lettuce was almost paper. (No moisture left) The bacon was like rubber. Not warm, not even room temperature. Anything western that was not cooked in front of you was pretty bad in terms of quality. The food needs to stay hot. Obviously the heat lamps were ineffective and they should be turned up or replaced. Also they need more quality control on some of the dishes they leave out. The sandwiches and other stuff should be replaced or thrown out more often because this is how people get sick, old food left out for a long time.
