Arboretum Bolestraszyce

Something to do if staying in Przemysl and well worth it. The arboretum is about 8 km frim Przemysl. The highlights for us were the museum with insects and wildlife (stuffed), the oldest Cornelian cherry dogwood (deren) in Poland (near the peacocks/paw), the peacocks, the lily ponds and the wisteria-covered pergolas. You can also buy some dogwood plants and some dogberry jelly (pln 10), also pickled available. Really enjoyed the visit (pln 44 2 adults/2 kids) around the 29 ha.

This is a beautiful place. Calm, tranquil, and an oasis in the summer heat. Very reasonable entrance fee and there’s also a lovely cafe which serves drinks, cakes and ice cream. Would definitely go back.

Sensory Gardens

Reviewed By sanchow2020 - Krynica-Zdroj, Poland

it was hot sunny day. We had a choice if climbing up the stairs or walking longer path in shadows of the trees. regardless of the choice we rejoined on top of the tower and ve've got a reward: spectacular view on the two rivers merging, wild deep green forests on surrounding hills, bright grass lawns around and young trees planted in geometric pattern that looks like 3D computer graphics rendering on photos, but they're real! it was also interesting to spot traces from bicycles on the lawns and how they're disappearing when wind waves are brushing grass. highly recommend!
