Planica Valley

Reviewed By vulyn

The great ski jumps of planica are empty during summer which makes it perfect to walk up there to the top and check out the views for yourself. See what the athletes see. There is really cool zipline now there. And the activity centre is really nice with a lot of things to do.

Kralov Med

Reviewed By Kim025Singapore - Singapore, Singapore

We emailed Danijela about arranging a private tour for three of us and she replied suggesting a choice of two timings. Closer to the date, we let her know about the time of our arrival. As we stayed at Garni Hotel Berc, we walked through the residential area and country road to reach this place in the village of Selo in about 25 mins. Before we went on the tour (6 euros each), we wore a hat with protective netting. Danijela is a warm person and she explained to us the intricacies about bee keeping. She also encouraged us to try the Bee therapy by lying on a bed. She readily answered our questions. Bees and other pollinators, such as butterflies, bats and hummingbirds, are increasingly under threat from human activities. Pollinators allow many plants, including many food crops, to reproduce and they are key to conserving biodiversity - a cornerstone of the Sustainable Development Goals. To raise awareness of the importance of pollinators, the threats they face and their contribution to sustainable development, the UN designated 20 May as World Bee Day. This date was chosen as it coincides with the birthday of Anton Janša, who in the 18th century pioneered modern beekeeping techniques in his native Slovenia and praised the bees for their ability to work so hard, while needing so little attention. We also visited the gift shop and learnt what good honey is like. We also tasted some samples. After my trip to Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia, I felt that her prices are reasonable and the small bottles of honey are good gifts for families and friends back home. We walked back by another way passing a working farm where we saw brown cows and lovely houses with beautiful flowers in their gardens. Soon we arrived at Lake Bled and this walk was pleasant and scenic. Strongly recommend a walk there to visit an important industry and learnt much about the importance of bee.

We experienced the game Lov na skriti zaklad (treasure hunting). The game is structured in a great way. Through the game you get to know the village, its history and its secrets. It is a great opportunity for a familiy trip, team bondings or romantic trip. We really had a great time and we recommend it!

Razglednik Pec

It is a fantastic location for short hike and perfect for photographers. You can enrich the trip by extending it to Rudnica. It takes about fifteen minutes on foot to reach the view point (from Lev's concrete bridge in Stara Fužina), which adds up to an altitude difference of about 200 metres. On the way, we can also enjoy the view of Stara Fužina.
