Things to do in Singapore, Singapore: The Best Shopping

February 25, 2022 Viva Honore

The Singapore cityscape looks like it was ripped from the pages of a science fiction comic book. If you’re hungry for a true Singapore experience, sample the myriad street foods or take a cultural cooking class. The Botanic Gardens and the Gardens By the Bay offer a slice of horticultural heaven, and the observation deck of the Sands SkyPark makes you feel like you’re high above the clouds. The banks and walkways along the Singapore River bustle with local activity.

ZIIIRO Flagship Store (Singapore) - The FIRST ever ZIIIRO flagship to make it's Global première in Singapore. We make unique, minimalist and beautiful watches. Our first watch, The ZIIIRO Gravity, was featured on famous web magazines such as Engadget, Gizmodo and Yanko Design after Robert Dabi (a.k.a. chief designer) showed his first watch concept on the internet. Overwhelmed by the positive response, Robert and Derick realized that with the ZIIIRO brand they created a perfect room for subsequent ideas to become true. If you want an uncommon and stylish piece of art on your wrist, this is the watch for you.

Good place to shop for gifts. Nicely decorated shopfront. A place that you can find a great variety of movie posters as well as motivational posters. You can also get your posters framed up. There are many collectibles for sale too. I brought my kids to purchase the Harry Potter items. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

City Link Mall

Reviewed By alhasan1909 - Lahore, Pakistan

Just like the name suggests this mall is more like a link between some of the cities central MRT stations and Big Malls. You can just get off at the MRT station and walk indoors to places like Esplanade Theater, Marina Mall and Suntec City which is convenient specially with kids. The mall has all the usual shop chains and fast food places plus some banks a 7/11 and pharmacies. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but if your going to one of the places the mall connects to it's helpful.

There's a bunch of stores in here that caters to all types of budgets! I visited this mall mid-afternoon in order to get out from under the hot Singaporean sun and after wandering a bit (it's easy to get lost but there are giant tablet kiosks to help you find your way and give exact step by step directions on how to get where you want to go to), I happened upon a hair dressing school. $6 for shampoo, haircut and dry? Sign me up! The facilities were clean and well maintained and had a very modern feel to it. You have the option of either having a student help you or a graduate (a bit more expensive). Of course with the student the teacher is there to walk around and supervise the progress of each cut. One of the best finds in this mall for sure. They were also setting up a space themed exhibit in the center of the mall with balloons which was pretty darn cool to see. Don't forget to wander outside to the top floors to get that great backdrop of Marina Bay!
