The heart of The Old Town and definitely a 'Must See Place' Home to Museums, Restaurants, Free Music Concerts, Market stalls and shops. Not all of which are Tourist orientated, so No Pressure Sellers. Lots of craft stalls with high quality goods at reasonable prices. In winter there are beer shacks set up surrounding the Open Air Ice rink as well as the restaurants

Lovely place to sit Nd people watch , with plenty of atmosphere lots of restaurants with outdoor seating, you can even take your pick and go for a horse and carriage ride or hire a segway or even a scooter, you will never get bored here and can return time after time

Definitely worth your visit, amazing detail and architecture especially see Lost Wawel and the armoury. Strangely you have to buy tickets for each section you are wanting to see and the queues are long so definitely use online if you can. Also strangely the cathedral is another ticket and another office. They should really just sell one ticket covers all. It would be a lot quicker!

This is a wonderful area to walk around and discover.Buildings are great & a lot of them are being renovated so I suspect this will become a more popular area over the next few years. The Plac Nowy is a central square which has a brilliant flea market on a Saturday & in the centre is a round building which houses lots of little street food kiosks serving a traditional Polish pizza like snack for around £2 Take a look & enjoy wandering the streets

Old Town is a charming place to go, two square markets and main streets with bars and restaurants, many calm narrow streets where you can stroll for hours without bunch of tourists - especially Brzozowa street, Piwna street, Piesza street.

The city is beautiful and clean free of litter ans although busy never felt too close to anyone lots of beautiful restaurants and bars the historic buildings are immaculate and maintained to a high standard there is so much to and do!wroclaw is a beautiful city and the staff and tour guides are so helpful the views from different areas and tops of the Cathedrals and bridges around the city are beautiful i will be returning more often the food in all traditional polish restaurant was tasty and excellent prices highly recommended.

Mariacka Street is a small street in Old Town Gdańsk bordered by the Mariacka Gate on one end and St Mary's Church on the other. It’s a narrow cobblestone street lined with three story townhouses. The houses have terraces one level above street level with ornate stone sculptures, wood carvings and decorative ironwork. There are showcases on the street level fronting many of the townhouses which were empty at the time of our visit. We found out later that Mariacka Street houses numerous jewelry shops selling amber jewelry. The showcases would normally be full of amber jewelry. There are also a few restaurants and cafes on the street. The street is charming and worth a visit.

Waly Chrobrego (German name: Hakenterrasse) - promenade with great views on Oder river and port, a favourite among the locals and tourists. Many cafes are situated here. See the Maritime museum (Muzeum Morskie), situated just in the center of Waly which houses some artifacts from history of the city and also has big collections of African and maritime artifacts.
