Popeyes village is a must I never laughed so much as olive owl, Popeyes & Brutus put on a little show, you can stay the day if you want too as they have a pool for the kids to splash about in & loungers for the adults , there is a cinema with free popcorn tells you about the beginning of Popeyes village when they made the film with Robin Williams, a photography shop you can have photos done one free, & the higgledy piggledy houses are great.

My family made a cruise stop for a day in Valletta, and I while researching options on things to do with kids, Playmobil factory on Malta Island came up. Both of my kids love Playmobil and have tons of their sets at home, so naturally a visit to the factory and accompanying store made sense. We wanted to take a factory tour and were told to arrive there at least 15 minutes prior. We actually arrived there more than an hour before our scheduled tour time, so were able to check out all the merchandise at the store, the kids could play in any of the Playmobil stations inside, or get something from the cafe. When you pay admission for the factory tour, you get a 10% discount in the shop as well as a drink and dessert in the cafe. The tour itself was interesting and enlightening, to see how all the characters and their outfits are made, all the way down to the packaging. The guide started off by allowing each person to assemble their own souvenir Playmobil character upon entering the building. This was a nice keepsake for the kids to take home. The park and factory is about a 45-minute ride from Valletta. We started off by taking a hop-on/hop-off bus from the cruise terminal area to a historical site on the island. Once we were finished there, we found a cab driver who got us to Playmobil in 25 minutes. Once we were done, we decided to take the public bus back to Valletta by the cruise terminal. There is a bus stop just down and across the street from Playmobil. The day we were in Valletta it was extremely hot, which made this indoor activity welcome for my kids and myself. If you or your kids like Playmobil products and plan to visit Malta Island, you should consider a tour here!

Fun playground with lots of water. Divided in 3 colors, green for the really small children (1-4), yellow for 4-7 and blue for 7-12. No slides but a good place for the kids to cool down.
