The Kansai region (関西地方, Kansai-chihō) or the Kinki region (近畿地方, Kinki-chihō) lies in the southern-central region of Japan's main island Honshū. The region includes the prefectures of Mie, Nara, Wakayama, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyōgo and Shiga, sometimes Fukui, Tokushima and Tottori. While the use of the terms "Kansai" and "Kinki" have changed over history, in most modern contexts the use of the two terms is interchangeable. The urban region of Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto (Keihanshin region) is the second-most populated in Japan after the Greater Tokyo Area.

Lucky 29 is Kansai's first foreign-owned and operated amusement casino & bar. Gambling is illegal in Japan and Lucky 29 does not promote any illegal activities. We are a fun, relaxed learning space for people who would like to learn the rules, manners and customs of popular casino games. As we can offer no prizes to our guests, we provide a unique environment to eat, drink and play. There is no requirement to play any games, but we host daily Texas Hold 'Em tournaments. Most customers choose our 3000 yen all-you-can-drink package and have a fun night without breaking the bank.

This is a cross-country horseback-riding course, but there are many other attractions even for those who do not ride horses. These include greenery and open areas, a campground, horse-drawn carriages, as well as a number of eateries to choose from. There is free parking for 500 vehicles and entrance to the park is also free.

A very enjoyable experience. I love going to the races in Australia and was quite excited to be able to attend a race meet in Kyoto. I was fortunate to be there for a Group 1 race. I would thoroughly recommend a visit for anyone who is a regular race goer, because even though very little English is spoken everyone is helpful and extremely kind and courteous.
