Maria’s Horse Trekking is in Lysos, within the Paphos District of Cyprus, close to the coastal town of Polis. Our horse treks venture through stunning countryside and pine forests that overlook the sea with breathtaking views. We also ride past old ancient derelict villages in the hills and mountain ranges. PRICES €40 - 1.5 hour trek €65 - 2.5 - 3 hour trek €90 - 8 hour Trek to the Beach, including souvlaki (bbq) and 1 glass of wine/beer. €65 - 3 hour Night Trek, from sunset to 10pm - ONLY during Full Moon. We cater for mixed abilities from intermediate up to competent level. All riders are looked after, instructed and supervised. The trekking groups are small so that riders can be given plenty of equestrian tuition en route while we safely trek across this beautiful landscape. IMPORTANT These horses are not for novice riders. Each person is required to sign a disclaimer that they ride at their own risk. Riders are ALWAYS accompanied by Maria at all times.

We made a quick weekend to Paphos and we heard that the Troodos mountains are snowy so we took a daily trip with a rented car. the area was very beautiful, many small villages around, nice coffee shops and restaurants. i suugest you to take the old road from paphos because is very authentic to view around.

This farm is a must visit place in Pano Lefkara and Cyprus in general! It is centuries old and the views are incredible! BUT when it comes to the tasting part- Oh my God !!! Whatever we tried was just unbelievable- the oil, the olive paste, the olives, the sweets. And it is true - they have the best olive oil! Buy as much as you can when you’re leaving this farm, because you can’t find products with this quality everywhere! We live in Cyprus, so we are definitely coming back as soon as we finish the olive oil and all the other stuff that we bought!

This is a nice ski site, good for beginners. You can rent different kinds of ski equipment and enjoy the snow. Since we are 'beginners' - we spent most of the time near the entrance - enough space for kids to play with the snow and to take some sleights rides. We parked at the place called "Sun Valley". Several minuses drive from Trodos, 20 mins drive from Pano Platres. There is a website which is quite informative: weather, prices, etc. The only issue is that sometimes the road can be open for 4x4 cars only.
