Favourite part was having the waterfalls to ourselves. Least favourite part was the markers on the route :-D We parked at the trout farm at the bottom and walked up - there a couple of small pools and waterdrops that you can stop at and admire / catch your breath. There is a covered seat section that has a 2km marker which very nearly made me turn around as really didn't want to climb that distance on top of what we'd already done, but I think it must've been for those that come from the top as less that 200m of clambering up and over rocks and steps we reached the falls. The water is cold, it is slippery and if you brave bare feet the stones are uncomfortable. But on a hot day, and a fair hike, who cares!

Absolutely amazing waterfall with a beautiful nature path to reach there. Just bear in mind when you get to first waterfall that you need to go through hole to get through to second waterfall. You need waterproof bag for your mobile to take pics.

you can drive with the car right next to the waterfalls almost , so its easily accessible by small children and elders . Platres nearby has many locations to spent your day , eat, stay and many nature walks start from Platres in the mountainous area. the climate is always nice and fresh during the day in the summer months and quite cold during night . in winter times it may also snow in the area !

Getting down there is quite a bumpy ride off-road but worth it when you get there €9 entry there is also a little area to eat and some heritage about how they used to live there once through the main house you can make your way down to the waterfall we’re you can have a lay down on a sun bed or go in the freeze if water which is perfect on a warm day it also has a rope swing a tree you can jump off and many ledges to jump into the water great place to chill out and Destress also if you walk further up they’re is another smaller water fall and pool of water. I would highly recommend
