My first impression of a Sri Lanka
Reviewed By Resort03616295710We are family of 3 and we're staying at Passi Villas for two weeks with my 3 yo daughter. It is a wonderful place with large rooms in a good condition, huuuge bathroom with a bathtub, big terrace where we’ve had a lot of delightful breakfasts and lovely pool with a small part for kids. Even though that we were the only guest for 2 weeks pool was cleaning every day, all dishes from the menu was available and everyone from the hotel always willing to help. And if there wasn't one hallmark it will be just one good 4-star hotel among the others. BUT what amazed me the most and made the different - it is the staff and especially the hotel manager - Amila. He is unbelievably honest, hardworking, kind and heartful man. I travel a lot, but I rarely met the people like him. And all his team member is the same! When you came in Passi Villa you have everything from a good 4 star hotel but on top of that and this what makes this place outstanding is a feeling when everyone treat you like you are there best friends and with sincerely, from the bottom of there hearts try to do their best to make you happy and comfortable. And you know...It is indeed touching. PS Guys, if you are reading this - thank you so much! This was a remarkable staying and I'm grateful that I started my experience of Sri Lanka from your hotel, cause you have created for me an impression of Sri Lanka’s people and it's still warm my heart ❤️

Wonderful time spend in a wonderful place with a friendly and respectful staff
Reviewed By wasantha123I went to aki villa with a couple from france .this place in kalkuda is located in a very peaceful and quite nebourhood.it has a large swimming pool .the garden of the hotel is full of flora and forna .they also have a restaurant (they will prepare anything for your conveiniance for sure ) they offer me even the driver accomotation for a very reasonable rate and with a little bit of money spend i also had all my meals at aki villa (if you need futher cheap prices the owner of aki villa also have a hotel in the heart of valachchena(near to police station and petrol shed /to the pasikudah road ). The staff of this hotel is very good and they will give you a very fast and excellent services upon your requests .the morning breakfast was fantastic as well as all the dinners i had there .very clean environment with always smiling people .they also let me clean and wash my vehicle without any additional cost .you can experience the fisherman life (everything they do)just 500 meters away from the hotel (ask your hotel and they will organize it at your conveiniance ) most important thing is that they have rooms for a very relaible and cheap prices while other hotels having unbearable prices .highly recommended for local and foriegn guests and for families .i would definitely take my guests to aki villa again .finally i have found "The place " to stay in pasikudah .all the best

Reviewed By 1LifeStandWe stayed 2 nights at Kottukal Beach House By Jetwing. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. Lovely balcony and common areas. The pool was well maintained, and staff polite and attentive. Walked along the beach in the company of the two resident dogs (Dan and Birdy!). It would be lovely if the hotel could keep the beach clean, although the trash washes up from elsewhere. Or if they can ensure the local authority does their job in maintaining a clean beach. We went for dinner to Jetwind Surf, where the food, service and ambience was out standing! Had a good time. Thank you.

Perfection from start to finish
Reviewed By clair01Amal is the perfect host. The accommodation is absolutely spotless and in the perfect location. Out the door onto the pristine beach for a chill or swim. In our opinion this premises is at the best end of Nilaveli Beach. Amal’s freshly made food is exception and he’s tips and recipes will be used for years to come. Thank you for a perfect 4 day stay we will be back to this place.

Reviewed By ben_singamWe stayed at So J with friends and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and beauty around us. The manager, Phillippe, and his staff were so friendly and helpful from start to finish. The villa we stayed in was spotless and the beds were so comfortable kitted out with mosquito nets , critical if you’re a tourist , and room complete with WiFi (great signal), aircon, telly, shower and separate toilet. For the foodies, you can literally order whatever you want. Given adequate notice, the staff will obtain the necessary ingredients so the chef can cook up your favourite cuisines. Seafood is a must here as it’s so fresh. If you want to eat out, there are several restaurants and cafes just a few steps away. The sandy beach is absolutely gorgeous and ‘untouched’. You can swim quite some distance away as the clear blue waters are shallow. If you want to see the wild marine life , you can simply hop into a speed boat which will whisk you a few miles out to sea where dolphins and killer whales await to entertain you with their acrobatic moves in their natural habitat. All of this is at a very affordable cost to the tourist which leaves you with more than enough to tip the local staff should you wish to do so. They made it possible for us to check in just before midnight as we had to change our accommodation on short notice. Other comparable hotels in the area were not so flexible and helpful. The location is beautiful, directly at the beach. Especially the pool area is awesome and has beach views. Thank you Aprota team for the nice stay with you!

Good decent option
Reviewed By paulyt1This is a nice affordable option on the roadside in Arugam Bay. Staff are really good and rooms are very spacious with great A/C. There's a nice pool too and a good bar that has great happy hour discounts. The hotel has all the things you'd expect for a cheap stay.
