Santiago is one of those metropolitan joys where the more you look, the more you find. Funky cafes and dance clubs dot Bellavista, Forest Park art collections range from pre-Columbian to contemporary, and architecture runs the gamut from the 16th-century San Francisco Church to mirrored office towers. Shop with the locals at Mall Panora¡mico and give your palate meals to remember with hearty Chilean fare.

Sommelier Hotel Boutique

Hotel Sommelier Boutique has a privileged location in the heart of Santiago. It is an avant-garde and renovated building that has twenty four rooms distributed in it`s eigh cozy floors: each one with the name of a wine varietal in particular, refined carrara marble staircases and beautiful hand-made stained glass windows inspired by Alfons Mucha, who interpreted the fascinating world of wine in all it`s glory. Restaurant Antaño, located on the first floor of the Hotel, offers the most tasty and homemade dishes focused on traditional Chilean cuisine. In it we can enjoy from a delicious crab stew, to an irresistible tres leches (cake made with three types of milk), Antaño sahres the same menu wit its pleasant terrace located in the highest part of the building or SkyBar. A large terrace with a panoramic view of Santa Lucia Hill and a large part of the city. Where it would be unforgivable to miss the opportunity to enjoy the most delicious cocktails and signature drinks.

Great Boutique Hotel

This is a very unique property. Each floor is a designated wine (Merlot/Sauvingnon Blanc/etc) and each room is decorated with wine in mind. Rooms are extremely large and well appointed. Everything was very clean and staff are all friendly and helpful. If we have any kind of complaint it is the bed is extremely firm, to the point of being hard. Breakfast is included and is a regular type buffet. What isn't regular was that my wife forgot her purse on the back of her chair when we got up. Several minutes later she discovered she didn't have it and we returned to find that the staff had safeguarded it and it was returned to her by the front desk - everything, including several thousand dollars of cash were still in the purse. Make sure you go to the rooftop restaurant/bar for at the very least, the view. We went for a drink but stayed for dinner as well. Dinner was EXCELLENT. Service was EXCELLENT. Sunset view of the city and Andes was EXCELLENT. Checkout was easy and the front desk arranged a cab with a set fare to the airport.

Stylish, clean, and quiet hotel

We stayed at Ddoor Hotel for three nights in November 2019. Our room was a good size, the decor was trendy, and the rooms were quiet (despite being located in the middle of everything). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate and they allowed us to use the cafe downstairs after hours to hang out. I would definately stay at this hotel again in the future.

Hostal Sendero Sur

Best hostel in Santiago!

Reviewed By Laura T

I travelled Chile for one year, and kept Santiago as a base, returning every couple months to a new hostal or airbnb. By far, my stay at Hostal Sendero Sur was the best! I stayed in a single room, and the bed was so comfortable, the room was simple but cute and well furnished. There was no breakfast but I did get coffee every morning, and actually preferred that because the hostal is in the awesome neighbourhood of Providencia, so there are amazing breakfast and brunch options nearby. Whether a quick empanada in Parque Bustamente, or a short walk to Barrio Italia on a weekend for their amazing brunch options, or even a short walk to Bellavista for some good greasy food, the hostal is perfectly situated. I went hiking almost every day to Cerro San Cristobal, again, a very short walk from hostal. After partying with friends in Bellavista, it was so nice to not have to take a cab to far neighbourhoods, and to actually be able to walk home. I loved getting fresh bread and cheese and just chilling in Parque Bustamente on a picnic blanket with friends, or by myself to read. The hostal is literally across the park. Oh, and the guy who works there is so friendly and attentive. I practiced spanish with him, but he also spoke English. The price you pay for the convenience to local attractions, service, and comfortable sleep is incredible value! 100% recommend Hostal Sendero Sur and I'll definitely be back soon!!!

O local é simplesmente fantástico. Ao lado do shopping parque Arauco. A vista é maravilhosa. Aí começaram os problemas. Fui eu e meus dois filhos. Havia colocado a idade deles. O café da manhã incluso, não existe, pois é um apartamento de moradia. Ganhamos no 3º dia um “voucher” de um café da manhã para tomar em um “mini market” próximo. Detalhe, a temperatura estava à 4ºc. Não havia moça da limpeza que foi tres dias, e apesar de avisarmos, colocava apenas duas toalhas. Éramos em três pessoas. O sofá cama era ruim. Apesar disso, tivemos uma otima percepção da cidade que é fantástica
