Great hotel in the center of the Kranjska Gora
Reviewed By Tadej PWe stayed here over a weekend at the start of the December 2021. Before the arrival, the owner Maja send us SMS how to enter the hotel without needing to stop at the reception. We handled stuff at the reception the next morning. We booked an apartment which was really cozy and spacious with the Mountain View. The public parking is free and right next to the hotel, the surroundings was really quite even thought it is in the center.

Reviewed By MM0980Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Sitzecke und Balkon. Es gab ein Gemeinschaftsbad und eine Gemeinschaftsküche. Kranjska Gora ist echt klein, so dass alles um die Ecke ist - Bushaltestelle, Supermarkt und Restaurants. Der Besitzer war freundlich. Wir wollten ihn bei Ankunft anrufen, damit er uns die Schlüssel übergibt. Hat alles super geklappt.

Reviewed By C2696DBantoniofArrivati casualmente in questo graziosissimo locale, a pochi metri dal confine italo sloveno di Fusine, siamo stati accolti gentilmente insieme ai nostri due cagnolini. Cameriere gentilissimo, locale pulitissimo, cibo locale cucinato in maniera esemplare. Zuppa di funghi, tartara freschissima, pollo fritto, gnocchi di formaggio, dolci locali e pelinkovec per digerire! Prezzo veramente basso per la qualità e quantità delle portate. Torneremo senz'altro!

Reviewed By Nalin75Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen, direkt am Skilift und nicht weit ins Zentrum. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet und der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und steht mit Rat und Tipps zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und würden wieder hier übernachten.

Reviewed By DuequalunqueEsternamente si presenta come una classica struttura in legno, tipo grossa baita, a livello sottostrada, felicemente ubicata a ridosso della strada principale che collega la Slovenia all'Italia. Sarà anche x questo motivo che quella sera vi erano diversi tavoli occupati da commensali italiani. Entrando, invece, si constatano piccoli e medi locali carinamente arredati con un camino in fondo alla sala principale. Optiamo x diversi piatti: una zuppa di verze, tartare di carne (eccellente a confronto con altre provate in zona), bistecca, pollo fritto (anch'esso molto buono). Il cameriere (forse titolare) un omone molto gentile che parle bene ancje la nostra lingua. Prezzi contenuti.

Nice modern apartment with a strange host
Reviewed By Natasa-KrsticPros: modern, sunny apartment with good heating and beds Cons: close to a noisy street, lack of basic facilities (salt, toilet paper, sugar, shower etc), dislocated from the town center (20min by foot) and weak WiFi with frequent interruptions. Above all, when posting a 7 score review on Booking.com, the property politely responded to it, but at the same time sent a very impolite message to our mobile phone. It is sad that such people are in the service business.

Great service - but lacked all the basics!
Reviewed By EgusThe girl that checked us in and seemed to take care of the apartments/rooms was so nice that I feel kind of bad writing such negative review, but with so many basic things missing in this place, I really can't be more positive. A five star for the girl, but certainly not for the rest. I read quite ok reviews of this place on booking.com so I was quite confident to book it, but when I looked again just before getting there I started to get quite worried. I guess the good reviews regarded the apartments and not the rooms? Anyway, because of this, to say my expectations were low is an understatement. It was probably therefore I was quite pleasanly surprised at first. The girl that checked us in and showed us the room was lovely! Super helpful and friendly. The room appeared OK too, decently clean-ish and quite spacious. Again, my expectations were very low. The negatives are that the room lack so many basic things. It's like they just had a spare room with a bed and figured it was ok to rent out. No thoughts whatsoever on what people might need: blinds or something to cover the windows for example. Who doesen't want it to be dark when sleeping!? Curtains in the shower or anything to prevent water from running all over the floor. Anything to put things on in the bathroom and also in the rest of the room. There are certainly room for it. Some shelves maybe. The bathroom is really dark and needs some more lights. The mirror is so small and placed so high, I could only see half of my face, and I'm not particulary short. Also, the room itself only have super bright spotlights in the ceiling, not bedlamps or anything. Wifi was VERY patchy and unreliable and not working at all some days. No fridge. No mugs or glasses. No aircon or fan, so the window needs to be open all the time without being that much better. Our room was at the top of the building so it got really hot. We had to have the door to the hallway open at times just to be able to breathe. The main road is just outside, and also since it's on top of a pizzeria, there might be some noisy guests sitting outside it can get quite noisy (closing the window is not an option because of the heat), The walls are paper thin in between the apartments so sleeping quality was very poor to say the least. The road outside are quite trafficked also late at night so it doesn't really get quiet. The room is not serviced during the stay. Perfectly fine, but I expect to have the rubbish bin emptied at least every second day or so, or at least some info of where to empty it yourself. The place is located about a 15 min walk from the town centre. A bus stop is located just a couple of hundred metres down the road. I cannot recommed this place. There simply are too many things missing. However, if they fix these basic things, like blinds, shower curtain, lights, air, it would be a pretty decent option for a night or so I guess.
9. Apartmaji Grudnik
Apartments Grudnik are situated in quiet neighbourhood in a family house with garden and beautiful view on mountains. There are 3 apartments in house. Because of their location and cousines they are perfect for longer vacations or short-term stay. There is less then 5 minutes walk to centre of village with various restaurants, shops, post office and banks. The apartments are located less then 100 meters from the chairlift Kekec, which is the starting point for skiing on other slopes. FIS skislope Podkoren, Nordic center Planica and Ski resort Tarvisio/Monte Lussari are not far away. In summer you can hike or cycle in beautiful surrounding (lots of hiking trails and cycle path in close proximity). Golf enthusiasts can enjoy playing golf on neirby Golf course. Parking for your car is in front of the house.
