Everything was absolutely perfect

We are so thankful that we stayed here for our honeymoon. Barbara and Fabio are the most generous and accommodating hosts. It is a stunning property with a spectacular view and the best hospitality. We typically love being right downtown but are so glad we stayed here - you will not regret it! We did not eat at the residence the first night but after their incredible cooking class we ate the rest of our dinners here - Mena and Ana went above and beyond and cooked us the most amazing meals. Do not forget to keep a night open for their cooking class. It is so much fun and very delicious. We cannot thank Barbara, Fabio, Mena and Ana enough for our incredible stay - it was such a special week.

All rooms with swiming-pool view in the center of the building, the private beach of the hotel is just a stone's throw away by crossing the street. There is also a play area for children. From our arrival until departure, the very kind owners have responded to our every need therefore we thank them from the heart. We recommend this hotel especially for families with children.

Let me say that the staff is exceptional… location wonderful but the rooms are very tired. I don’t like giving it 3 stars because everyone is just wonderful and helpful. The room was quiet with a nice bathroom but again tired and beat up. Decent bed and linens never enough hangers and small refrigerator that is stocked. There’s a market right across the street for juice and yogurt ..etc. for mornings. So location and staff are excellent rooms just need some work.

Great hotel for a stopover in Porto Santo Stefano

Reviewed By David S

Going to a wedding in central Italy and decided to go to the coast for one night for swimming and beach. We came across Santo Stefano on the net and decided to look for somewhere to stay. As it was the busiest time in August, we had great difficulty, but Bike and Boat hotel called me to say they could give us a family room for 1 night. The hotel staff could not have been more friendly and helpful to us in booking and when we arrived. They went out of their way to help us make the most of the time we were there, recommending restaurants, places to see and directions to a fantastic sandy beach. Room was fab and the breakfast was excellent. They also hired bikes, but as we were only there for 1 night, we decided against this. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Relais Borgo San Faustino

Arriving in Borgo San Faustino you feel the sensation of being in a place where tranquility and peace blend with nature. The houses of the 14th century, forming the village, have been beautifully restored recreating a warm and romantic atmosphere. Inside the estate of 300 hectares of woods and meadows and streams that form a small lake, there are herds of cattle and the famous Chianina Cinta Senese pigs, the farm with crops and orchards, gardens, deer and wild boar living in total freedom in the private reserve. The Borgo San Faustino is now a Relais. Its simplicity and its surroundings infuse warmth and harmony. Everything contributes to make the stay unique and unforgettable experience: rooms carefully refined, peaceful atmosphere is elegant and quiet.

Delightful hotel located in the hills of Umbria

Reviewed By trevor494

A beautiful drive into the vine and olive-covered hills above Orvieto takes you to a charming hotel where one is pampered mercilessly. At first the room appeared a little basic but as we became used to it the spaciousness and comfort became apparent. The supporting service was always excellent and the the quality of food was outstanding and beautifully presented. The menu was the same for all four days, which was disappointing. I would definitely visit again but would explore local food options if staying for more than a few days.

Teepee room was awful

Reviewed By Lmn82

It’s a glorified garden shed, it’s any kind of hotel/motel room. Was told the teepee room was sealed and comfortable. It is not sealed (plant is literally growing in from outside), light is pouring in from the door, and it takes two adults to shut the door because it doesn’t fit the frame. Under the covers we found both a lizard and a spider. Also, the mattress is very uncomfortable. It’s 5 AM. I’m still awake. HARD PASS.
