Reviewed By hlg60Clean, bright hotel about 30 minutes from the airport. Short drive to the town of Novara if you have to stock up on supplies. Large, comfortable bed, great shower and breakfast. Each room has it's own private parking space that you can close the garage door and have a private entrance to your room. Loved this place!

Charming and Delightful
Reviewed By rudysdad3We needed a room near FCO prior to an early morning departure and this hotel was PERFECT. The neighborhood is typical on the edge of a major international airport, but then the gate to this charming hotel opens and it's a little paradise. The hotel manager, Stefano, was warm, welcoming, and even prepared dinner for us when we arrived. (I had arranged for that in advance.) We weren't going to be there for breakfast because of our departure time, but Stefano brought us a try with some Biscottato, jams, Nutella, and coffee/tea packets. Don't hesitate if you need a night by the FCO airport - and while we didn't get to see it, there's also a nearby beach community with restaurants, etc., in season. Thank you, Stefano, for a welcoming stay at your hotel.

Great stopping off place (if a little chaotic!)
Reviewed By Simon CWe booked the hotel blind, based on reviews online, wanting somewhere easy to get to arriving from a late flight to Pescara. It was further from the airport than we thought (30 mins), but easy to find & lots of parking. No-one spoke much English, but although we were late and initially said the kitchen was closed, they managed to rustle up an excellent fish salad (described as a slightly less appetising "cold fish sandwich"!) and some drinks. The bedroom was on the third floor, but was clean, tidy and reasonably well equipped. We slept well. We went down to breakfast, and this was completely chaotic! No English speakers. The orange juice machine was not working, and the only food was in packets (jams/biscuits/cereal). We were about to give it a miss, but spotted a couple of croissants that were fine... plus a super jam tart! The one member of staff there also made some great coffees, so we stayed for breakfast. Checking out was also a bit mad, as we didn't pay for the room (had paid Expedia on line), but were expecting the pay room tax, and not sure about the breakfast. We had paid for the food the night before, and the suggestion was we would need to pay for the room (but I checked the booking and knew that wasn't right). Anyway - we would definitely recommend, and super value for money - just be prepared for anything!

Reviewed By grichtingdmotel without any charm. The rooms are big and clean. The breakfast is ok. The parking is safe. The staff is outstanding. Wifi worked properly. This motel as also some thematic rooms, which seems to be use for some fantasies of couple. But we had a nice and quiet sleep.

A very odd airport motel
Reviewed By PG_LancasterStaying at this motel the night before our flight was a strange experience. Hotel is located very close to Linate airport- had I known that it was right at the edge of the runway and the planes started taking off at 6:30, I would not have booked it. The hotel entrance is nice and the lobby is nice, but then there are stairs up to the room floor. The room corridors are arranged in a strange v-shaped configuration and are kind of grungy with ugly, stained carpeting. When we went to the room, at 7 at night, there were many housekeepers with service carts that were blocking the room entrance. The room itself was nice, very spacious, remodeled with fancy wood furniture. A sitting area with a direct entrance to the outside with an individual , covered carport. The entire motel was warm and stuffy, even though it was cool at night. The A/C did not cool the room and so I did not sleep well. My advice would be to avoid this hotel due to the proximity to the airport and lack of adequate cooling. The breakfast was not great. Staff were good. For dinner, we walked about 15 minutes to an "entertainment complex" with several theme restaurants to choose from. Contrary to their information, there is no free shuttle to the airport.

It can be reached by driving less than an hour by road from: Milan, Turin, Piacenza, Genoa. It is located in a strategic and convenient position, 3 Km from the Tortona motorway exit, direction Novara / Sale. Located along the main state road towards Tortona, Hotel Motel 2 offers free parking spaces and free Wi-Fi. Rooms are all air conditioned and feature an LCD TV, minibar and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. The reception is open 24/7, we speak English, Italian and French. Hotel Motel 2 Tortona also has 2 pools that are open during the summer period and that can be used with no charge by all the hotel clients. We also have a restaurant open for lunch and dinner. Our Chef will prepare dishes from the international cuisine and traditional local italian cuisine all served with good Italian wine.

Reviewed By DanielFueGood equipment, very friendly staff. Rooms are clean, breakfast very well. If you stay for a nigh good choice. They even have a pool, parking is excellent. Would go there next time when being in Tortona.

Brand new 4-star hotel opened in January of 2009. Well over due, at last the Val Tidone and Oltrepo valleys can boast a structure of this kind. The hotel is situated very strategically, just twenty minutes from Milan and ten from Piacenza. The hotel has 2 pools that are open during summer months and free to use for all hotel clients. There is also a gym opened all day long also for the clients of the hotel free of charge. We serve breakfast everyday from 6 am to 10.30am, lunch from 12.00 to 2.30pm and dinner from 7pm till 10.00pm. The restaurant offers dishes from the international cuisine and local tradition served with good italian wine. Our staff speaks English and French. You are welcome at any hour, the reception is open 24/7.

Simple but good
Reviewed By Luk LGreat place along the motorway A1 to the south. Basic accommodation, but clean and everything in good working order. But come early for breakfast (before 9AM) or your options are very limited. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are very quiet because it is a few 100 meters from the highway.
