The best available Resorts to stay near Tel Aviv

May 4, 2023 Marlin Saiz

A youthful, modern metropolis with a diverse population, Tel Aviv dates back only to 1909. Clubs, bars, a thriving arts community, gay life and beaches attract artists, musicians and young professionals to Tel Aviv's more secular scene. Its UNESCO-designated Bauhaus architecture has won the city the moniker "The White City." Walk, drive or catch cabs between the cultural exhibition pavilions of Haaretz Museum, historic Independence Hall Museum, bustling Carmel Market and Old Jaffa's boardwalk.

Wonderful few days on the beach

Reviewed By Samster333

I went with my family (wife and grown up kids) for three nights. We had a great time. You can't beat the location, service, and food. The staff is very attentive and has a can do attitude - with a smile. We had two executive rooms on the 12th floor. The rooms were nice. Updated. Beautiful view - looking up the coast towards the Hilton. Very comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Our room had a large walk-in shower. The kids had a bathtub/shower combo. The executive lounge on the 14th floor was well stocked (although all the liquors brought out in the late afternoon were lower shelf). The complimentary food was plentiful and tasty all day (although by the third day I wished there was a bit more daily variation). Breakfast is served across the bike path, right by the marina - beautiful environment and very tasty and plentiful food. The food-service staff were all very attentive and happy to serve. We love the rooftop pool. Can't beat the view. It was our second stay. We will definitely go back. My only complaint is the lack of onsite parking and the nearby lot is very expensive (180 NIS per day).

Loved every moment

Reviewed By caroller375

This was our first visit to Israel since the Covid pandemic. We have been many times before, having stayed in both hotels and Air BnB's, all of which were enjoyed. However, our experience with Best Western was in fact the 'BEST' The suites are tastefully furnished and very comfortable, with lounge, bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom. The rooms are cleaned every second day, with fresh bed linen, towels etc, but you can ask for anything you need - it is always promptly supplied. As we were there for three weeks, I used the laundry room which has two washing machines and tumble driers. Great idea There is a quirky and colourful decorated lounge in the lobby and access to free coffee and tea, computer, books etc which is a nice touch. There is a business centre as well with several computers. The location is on a street right opposite the beach (few minutes' walk) and it is easy to walk the city if you want or the option to access the effective public transport system. Last, but certainly not least, we have to say a big thank you to an incredible staff. Everyone we dealt with was helpful, efficient, friendly and gave us marvellous service. Because it is small, there was a feeling of intimacy and warmth which really was the icing on an already delicious cake. We look forward to returning next year. Five stars BW!

Central hotel with sufficient facilities. However poor service generally not becoming of a crowne plaza. Eg water constantly not filled at foyer, towels and coffee not topped up in room, bed badly made up to a hotel standard, service staff at breakfast brash, coffee machine constantly not working. Much room for improvement.

A comfortable and lovely venue

We stayed at the Intercontinental David from May23-27. The hotel is conveniently located a short distance from the promenade and the Carmel Market. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Breakfasts items were both plentiful and delicious. The pool and the area surrounding it was a great place to relax after sightseeing. Staff was lovely and helpful. The manager helped us with a problem both graciously and quickly. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you visit Tel Aviv.

My family and I stayed at Yam Hotel for 5 nights in March. It was an excellent choice. The location close to the beach made it a great base from which to explore. The rooms were bright and clean. Most imortantly, the service was excellent, with staff helping us with everything from restaurant bookings to a late checkout. I would highly recommend this hotel. Overall a great stay

Reviewed By kickr s

As the title says, we had an overall great stay at Hilton Tel Aviv. We ran into two small problems which I suspect are related but I’ll address those later. First, I’ll go over the good parts: 1. We used a FNC (free night certificate) to book the stay but felt as welcome as “paying” customers 2. This hotel, like other hotels of its kind in Tel Aviv, is quite expensive, but I feel that it has better value-for-money compared to the competition, especially for high tier Hilton members (I am diamond). We booked a king deluxe room with sea view (that’s the “basic” room in this hotel) and we were upgraded a few levels to a plaza executive suite which was spacious, clean, and really fun to stay in. We were able to make use of the executive lounge which featured drinks and snacks throughout most of day, warm food during breakfast and dinner, and a dessert at night. And we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at the restaurant. It’s quite convenient to go to the beach from the hotel (although after a certain hour it requires walking a little more. The pool was also quite nice for me to swim in. Where ever we went in the hotel, I felt that the staff was welcoming and looking to assist with anything we needed. There were a few things that weren’t perfect but I personally found insignificant: 1. Not being recognized as diamond at check-in 2. A dedicated Hilton line not being available at check-in (to be fair, there wasn’t much of a crowd when checked in) There were also a couple of things that I found a bit more significant: 1. At the executive lounge, while eating a pineapple slice, my wife came across a piece of plastic. Luckily, my wife is a slow eater so she didn’t swallow the plastic, but this could be a real hazard 2. Following that event we notified the staff, who took our room number and mysteriously after that our stay vanished from my account (I could access it on the Hilton app before but couldn’t access it after the event). Given the timing I feel it’s a bit of a cover-up (maybe trying to avoid me leaving a negative review on the Hilton app? I don’t know) Even though the last two points did bother me a lot, I still feel it’s fair to say that this is a great option for high tier Hilton members looking for a place to stay in Tel Aviv.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay here. It was the last two days of our visit to Israel and a great place to end our vacation. We had friendly service when we checked in. As a Platinum member we were upgraded to a beautiful and renovated accommodation with a lovely view facing the Mediterranean. This facility has a pool (that area under renovation however still able to use). The breakfast buffet cannot be beat, looked forward to it during our stay.Of course you are on the beach, so wonderful location. On our last day we needed a later checkout and they accommodated us. Compliments to Ido J and his team for wonderful service. We will be back here when we return to Israel.

Diaghilev LOFT live art hotel

The Diaghilev LOFT live art hotel is a bohemian boutique hotel that offers an extraordinary and exceptional cultural experience intensified by excellent personal service. The hotel features an art gallery that changes once a month and an ongoing exhibiting with over 600 artworks that change every year, all unique and mostly radical decor items, a collection of hand made rugs from all over the universe, most of which are ancient and therefore reflect the aged cultures they originate from. The Diaghilev established a HUB for Start-ups and integrated a broad activity in such fields as design, fashion, and technology. The uniqueness of the hotel brought it into prominence among internationally acknowledged artists visiting Tel Aviv and the world of technology and start-up. Many employees of the leading corporations in the world choose the Diaghilev as their base in Tel Aviv. Built-in the purest Bauhaus, the Diaghilev invites its guests to experience a World Cultural Heritage site rich in hundreds of Bauhaus buildings and get a taste of the “White City.” Our uncommon nocturnal concept was designed taking account of recent scientific research that showed evidence that black beddings cause intensive production of Melatonin hormone, which results in deeper sleep, stronger immune system, and increased anti-aging effect. The Diaghilev is an eco-friendly hotel, committed to a continually expanding list of operating practices that aim to maintain minimal environmental impact. The toiletries at the Diaghilev are of outstanding quality. They are produced from natural materials created from plants cultivated for this purpose in the hills of Jerusalem. These products are manufactured and packaged at a small factory that employs people with disabilities and integrates them into the labor market. Our creativity-support concept leads to the establishment of the HUB - a shared work environment that is more than a physical workplace for creative entrepreneurs: It is designed to nurture a community in which creators will be able to collaborate with one another in order to produce innovative projects and initiatives.

Average hotel but great view

Reviewed By Danielle F

After waiting nearly 5 hours after check in we finally got given a room. I still don’t really know what took so long. I understand we checked in during Shabbat however everyone else who checked in at the same time as us (including a delta airline crew) got the rooms right away. To be fair Maya guest relations manager did offer us complimentary dinner in the hotel for the trouble we had been caused. Service and cleanliness in the hotel needs to be greatly improved they are short staffed and are not providing the 5 star experience one would expect. Pool area was lovely and how can you not get tired of that view. Only disappointment was that the pool bar was not open during the week so if you wanted any drinks you had to get room service to bring them to the pool for you! The pool area toilets were disgusting and avoided at all costs. I am still awaiting an issue to be resolved with the hotel bill as was charged tax due to their system being down. I haven’t been refunded correctly and still waiting a response to my email regarding this. Overall a very average hotel experience and apart from view and location I wouldn’t stay here again
