Tranquility beyond

Everything is absolutely incredible at this Resort. From the moment you arrive by Heli (highly recommend Helicoptering there) to the time you leave is just wonderful. The rooms are gorgeous and private we love the outside shower! The gardens are lush and well manicured. The spa is so beautiful, having a massage everyday is pure luxury. The food at the resort is amazing and there is plenty to choose from including healthy options if you desire. Cocktails were made with love and tasted so good. Cocktails at sunset is so beautiful especially with live music from the Boys made this a very romantic time of the day!!. This was our 9th trip to this true Fijian paradise. Could not fault anything. We highly recommend a visit.

Disappointing stay

Reviewed By Berecca01

We were really disappointed and were hoping after 2 years of being closed things would have been tidied up and have improved. So many empty buildings and areas. We stayed 4 nights, most days they ran out of beer, lemonade, ice cream, bananas (no smoothies) the wifi didn’t work, Bula bikes and the spa were fully booked for the week, we had no house keeping in the time we were there and no clean towels (bath and beach) over the 4 nights. The inflatables are all perished with broken parts and my kids (7 and 9 didn’t feel safe or enjoy them) Tractors driving past in the morning from 6am, everything is really tired and run down. Food very average, Such a shame, I considered not writing the review but wish I had been more aware before we came so I didn’t feel so let down when we arrived. We booked a beach front Bure, the rooms are stuffy and hot with noisy fans and the air conditioning unit right outside your bedroom (with slat windows so you hear everything outside!) Didn’t have the super friendly fiji hospitality either. Staff said they’d book our dinner for us on our behalf twice and both times it wasn’t done. We had 4 nights prior in Denerau and just wish we’d stayed there and done a snorkel day trip instead. The positives were the Malolo Cat transfers were easy and reliable, and the snorkeling around the front wharf is great, there are enough pools that they weren’t very busy but there is no pool drink/food service.

Musket Cove Holiday

Reviewed By LindaC11

After over 2 years being unable to travel to Fiji, we were thrilled to be back. We had never stayed at Musket Cove but had always wanted to. Disembarking from the Malolo Cat, we were welcomed with beautiful voices. Check in went smoothly and we were shown to our beachfront bure. The bure was spacious and well appointed and so close to the sea. The service we got from staff was excellent. They we so friendly and helpful and really looked after us. Some notable people were Lice, Job and all the restaurant staff. The reception staff were amazing and really helpful and professional. But the most outstanding was housekeeping. They cleaned our room in the mornings which we requested every day as we like to nap in the afternoon. Our lady Rosa was lovely and did such an excellent job. The staff made the holiday for us, they are your treasures, look after them well. The food was plentiful and well done. We also enjoyed the BBQ's at the Island Bar and it was a pleasant place to get a shandy or two during the day. The café was wonderful and again the staff were lovely, they did the best ice coffee and also lemon squash which was an excellent thirst quencher. We ate our lunches there and loved the environment. We are both in our late 60's and comfort is paramount in any trip for us. We have been coming to Fiji since 2012 and have been over 15 times so know what we like. Our 11 days were the best we've had on a Fiji island for a long while. Thank you Musket Cove.

This is the best locally-owned resort in Fiji. Booked one of their over-water bures. It had a living room with a glass-bottom floor, Champaign, friendly and wonderfully accommodating staff amazing recreational opportunities (island-hopping, snorkeling, diving, sunset cruises, inland hiking excursions, cultural activities... Look, I could go on all day but here's the bottom line: We stayed in one of the most gorgeous places I've ever been (and I've traveled the globe). The staff bent over backwards to make our stay awesome. We explored the Mamanuca group of islands (by air, land and sea) in comfort. It was so amazing it bordered on the surreal - it was THAT GOOD!!!
