Reviewed By nikigogoThe only negative thing I have to say is it shouldn't be possible to lock everyone out of the shower from a private room. I missed my ferry due to this. Otherwise, I absolutely loved everything about Munchies Resort. Stephanie, Selley and Tatiyana are all incredibly wonderful! Be patient when you come to Thailand and it will be a good experience! Can't wait to come back ✌❤ ?

Reviewed By Thomas1806Well, you have some options here: go to Than Sadet on day trip, and sleep elsewhere. It’s pretty, but can also be rough and windy at times. The Mai Pen Rai Bungalows on the rocks are truely spectacular, but worn and need refurbishing. They got the basics you need though. Some of Plaa’s bungalows seemed better off. The bar at the beach is overpriced and you get tired of reggae. The two other retaurants have better food. Don’t forget to buy the homemade banana chips at the Silver Cliff Restaurant! And do some hiking. Go see the waterfalls or hike to Thang Noi Pan and visit the cool Hide on High bar for a great view of the coast and sea on the way.

Reviewed By TiggerwildeStopped off here only for lunch whilst enroute from Surat Thani to Phuket. Beautiful setting, the accommodation looked very nice as did the whole resort. Food was excellent and the setting was stunning, great place friendly staff, couldn't fault.

Dewshore Resort is a family-run resort. It has large spacious bungalows and a beautiful swimming pool. The place is easy to reach from Thongsala and Haadrin. Beautiful views to Koh Samui over the beach. Free high speed Wifi and great local cooked food at the restaurant.
Beautiful relaxed family resort
Reviewed By Niko JI recently stayed at the Dewshore Resort and I could tell that my stay was simply delightful. I felt like being a VIP in paradise. This is a family-owned business so the staff was very friendly. I had a very warm welcome when I arrived. This resort offers a wide range of rooms for every budget. Since I went there during a very quiet period due to the current sanitary situation, I chose the best and biggest bungalow (with jacuzzi) right on the beach front. It was exactly what I was looking for, a quiet and stylish room right on the the beach front. The room was very nice, brand-new and sparkling clean with a huge terrace and offered very nice views over the sea and the opposite Koh Samui. Although the Ban Tai beach is definitely not the best beach in Koh Phangan, you'll certainly enjoy the beautiful view and the quietness of that place. A stroll right down the bungalow on low tide in the morning was a great way to start the day. One thing I really appreciated about that place is that even though the current situation is very difficult for every business owner in Koh Phangan and I was one of the only guests staying at that time, the whole resort (including my bungalow, the common areas and the swimming pool) was sparkling clean. It was also very safe, with CCTV cameras and a huge doggy to take care of the place. There was always some staff to help and clean, which is a credit to them, when considering the fact that I was one of the only tourists in Koh Phangan at the time. Highly recommended. I will definitely return before tourists come back :-)

At the same time, it's very quiet and peaceful. The staff is very welcoming, speaks English and they make sure to keep their guests happy. What I struggled with is the lack of a bedside lamp. Also, the bulbs used in the ceiling lamps are way too sharp. Moreover, I missed a hairdryer. In all, good value for money but could do with some extra touch.

Nice family resort - recommended if you want quietness

I was looking for a quiet place to spend a week by the beach, this place meets all my needs. - the restaurant is closed but you can use the facilities, great place to work. Internet is pretty strong. - the staff is super friendly and very careful ! As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. - the way to go is a dirt road but very easy. I’m clearly not an experienced driver but it was very easy to manage. Recommended to have a motorbike as this part of the island is still recovering from covid, however you’ll find a 7-11 on the main road (10 minutes walk).

Hotels restaurant is on the beach and the views couldn't have been better. Only negatives were lack of safetybox and fridge in our room, but it is understandable so they have money coming to restaurant. Easily 5/5, very nice and good price.

Facilities are basic but 100/100 as far as cleanliness and hygiene factor is concerned. location is great, just 5 mins walk to main chaweng beach, shopping and disco. you can always rent a bike, Infact you should rent a bike from this hotel for only 150baht (24hrs) and roam around the island. So many good attractions available in few Kms radius. Owner name is Monty and he is a good cooperative guy.

Bad experience and stolen money
Reviewed By LaMyrtille21We were accommodated with friends in three different bungalows there. As a low budget property it is not bad, close to the beach, so so clean.. Unfortunately at the end of our stay two girls of our group found out that about 500 USD had dissapeared from their rooms. It was stolen from locked rooms and hidden places in their backpacks. We are quite sure it was someone from local people or staff. So be very careful if you book this property. We were really diassapointed.
