This family-owned B&B offers a rich breakfast buffet, cosy rooms, a heated outdoor swimming pool, a solarium, a lovely cafe with homemade cakes as well as coffee specialities- and all that in a very friendly and familial atmosphere. Our B&B is the right guest house for hikers, cyclists, golfers and ski jumping team from all over Europe.

Reviewed By Deborah BWe were in this Pension and loved! Everything is very easy because there is no one to great you when you arrive but everything is very organized. We picked a room with a balcony and it was very spacious and confortable and so is the bathroom. The television is very small and this I did not like much ( nowadays televisions are not very expensive to buy). But the real good thing is the breakfast! What a breakfast! The lady that serves the breakfast it is not always very happy but I think it is because she does everything there ( single employe in the cafe ). But with so many options in the breakfast who cares?

Reviewed By KabdabGot back from this b and b/Hotel a few days ago. It is a beautiful place.A traditional Austrian building. Lovely garden..have your breakfast outside. Wonderful breakfast. Great selection. Very clean room. Lovely staff.Very courteous and helpful if you need advice. Short,pleasant walk to Lake Achensee for the boats etc.. I love Austria and have been many times to many lakes. I am never dissapointed. Lovely lake.lovely people. Lake Achensee is a gem. Enjoy.

Reviewed By Katarina SWe came to the Pension for 4-nights skiing trip. We booked b&b with 3.5 skipasses 3 months before our stay. As we changed our booking to b&b without skipasses our price was increased. Maybe strange and not very customers oriented because skipasses has nothing to do with price for b&b but acceptable for us. The location is fine. What was not good was service. Nobody was in reception as we arrived in afternoon, didn´t answer the phone and we did not know how to check in. Finaly other guests helped us and the key and letter for us was in reception so we could check in. The room and also bathroom was big, older but Ok. The breakfest was poor and same all the time, the coffee not good, ... They speak english, we do not speak german, however the lady tried to speak to us german all the time. Maybe she did not like us, but I think we were solid customers and she could be solid service to us ... One day we came to our room after all day skiing and the balcony door was open. There was freezing there ? I felt an unwelcome guest all our stay ?

Reviewed By Thomas KWe had late check in in the pension Windau on Saturday about 2.30pm. We met the owner. Really friendly and helpful. Done the paperwork and he printed the Oeztal Premium Card for us. Didn't lnow how much he is charging us for one night. Had a really good night sleep. Had a great continental breakfast and then I paid for the room. Surprisingly cheap. 100 Euro including breakfast and the Oeztal Premium Card. The Oeztal Premium Card by itself is 56 Euros per person. So you guys can do your own numbers. For me it's a 5 out of 5 ?. Bloody marvelous

A simple, peaceful holiday

Don’t expect luxury but do expect peace and quiet, a simple but spotless room and a hostess who rivals Father Christmas for jollity! Rooms 1 and 2 have reasonable wifi. You can email in advance to request them if you feel the need. Some other points that might be useful: The 6 day Activcard (pass for buses, train and cable cars) was expensive at €85 each but paid for itself after 4 days. Most cable car return journeys cost about €20. The S2 bus is a free bus which goes from Mayrhofen to Schwendau in 8 minutes - good to know after a tiring day out! The 4014 bus to Hintertux gets very busy before 11 and after 3.30. We tried timing our journeys in between these times.

Reviewed By Paul BThe family runned 'pension' (bed & breakfast) is located a few steps away from central Oetz with its shops, supermarkets and restaurant. I cannot think of anything that was not very good or excellent. Rooms are nice and clean and include a private bathroom, TV and a private balcony. There is an ample parking area in front of the house. Breakfast buffet is also good. Friendly staff. Good value for money. We will definitely come back.

The Arlberg Boutique went an extra mile for us!

The hosts were very friendly and the food was fantastic! 2 persons in our group are allergic to gluten. Miriam (the host and chef) made very NICE glutenfree dishes the whole week for the two familiemembers. Both breakfast and dinner. We all had 3 courses every day: soup + salat, main cours and dessert. All in all The Arlberg Boutique is a very warm and friendly hotel with a Nice bar and Plesant staff! We were all very pleased that Miriam went the extra mile to make this week very Nice to all of us.

Reviewed By 43jWe have not stayed here but have had coffee and cakes. We were walking round the lake and saw the sign for hagenhof so we walked down the track to find a quite place to have a drink. We ordered coffees and some lovely apple cake which was warm with lots of cream our coffees came in large mugs with hot milk which was very nice as you normally only get a cup at most places. We were glad we took the small detour it is well worth it.

Reviewed By marcvB4965VNThe Pension Terra is a very nice place to stay for a couple of days. It is about 20 min drive from the Stubai glacier. The rooms are clean and we were lucky to have a big balcony were we could enjoy the amazing view over the valley and local town. It is a 10 minute walk to the local pubs and restaurant. The owners Tammy and Leon were very good and helpful hosts. Leon: thank you for the early breakfast check out!

"Bergfrieden" is located in the heard of the Tyrolean Alps! Centraly [only 30' from Garmisch or Innsbruck - Airport. Appr. 1,5h from Munich or Salzburg. just an 50' to Swarovsky Kristal World and other Top Tourist Attraktions in Austria], but quite setting! We offer rooms, appartements, konference room, catering B&B, half board at prices Only a family run business can offer! Bergfrieden is run by Fam. Aichner now in 3rd generation (founded in 1918!) as Familie Guesthouse. And of course... we speak english and know our area AND Tyrol very, very well! Love to welcome you in our house! See you!
discovering a hidden gem
Reviewed By TINDIVWe hadn't expected to find ourselves staying at this fine establishment, we booked last minute due to unexpected poor weather on a motorcycle trip. On arrival we were by an extremely friendly, jovial and helpful owner. He could not have done more to make our stay more pleasurable. I had a single room which was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was very good. The town itself is very very quiet with a handful of shops and restaurants, a real get away from it all feel to hotel and town. Looking forward to returning
