Reviewed By HasSeenTheEdgeWir haben die Pension Harz Residenz im Zuge einer Hexenstieg Wanderung gebucht. Die Lage der Pension ist ausgezeichnet, befindet sie sich direkt am Hexenstieg. Die Pension ist für Wanderer und Familienurlaube im Harz eingerichtet, die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig, verfügen über einen TV/SAT Anschluss und Bad/WC. WLAN ist nicht verfügbar, was allerdings auch nicht sonderlich stört, LTE Empfang vorhanden und man besucht diese Pension um etwas Ruhe und Abstand vom Alltag zu haben. Das Frühstück wird in einem zentral gelegenen Speiseraum serviert, es ist absolut reichhaltig und vielfältig. Wir haben nichts vermisst! Bei Fragen zu Wanderungen oder Aktivitäten sind die Besitzer jederzeit hilfreich und fachlich versiert!

Reviewed By reisendersachse82018das , was die beiden dort hingestellt haben ist vom feinsten .... trotz des zerstörerischen hochwassers haben sie ihr paradies wieder so hingestellt , wie es die gäste lieben und deshalb kommt die ganze beherbergung am wasserstrassenkreuz in magdeburg den urlaubsempfindungen - wie im paradies - schon ganz schön nah und ist für mein empfinden , meine erlebnisse dort ganz großes kino .... und das seit 2004 - als mich meine ostsee biker tour auf dem rückweg dort hin spühlte ..... und es war all die jahre nie ein fehler bei rusts anzuhalten ... und wenn es nur ein hallo ist ... wie unter alten bekannten ... so ist das nun mal erste mal dort

Reviewed By fabiofortthe room was perfect, in an old house from 1600, windows overlooking the square and the St.Nikolai church. Perfect location, all the amenities and a kitchenette, parking spot. Delicious breakfast included and inexpensive.

Reviewed By ACWEI was here in July 2011 (not 2014, but I wasn't able to select a date that far back) when it was run by different owners under the name Pension zum Altstadtwinkel. I therefore will not really critique the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the room or the quality of the breakfast (though all were great), but I will say that we were allowed to park in the little Hof or courtyard, though I can see that if the hotel were full, the Hof certainly couldn't accommodate everyone. And we were there for a Sunday-Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday stay, not over a weekend. If you dropped off your bags and had to park elsewhere, however, I don't think it should have been that much of a problem. When you're in Europe you have to expect to do some walking and everywhere in that town is beautiful and must be even more so since they surely have completed many of the restoration projects that were going on when we were there 4 years ago. We didn't even use our car between arrival and departure. Once parked, it sat. Our room had plenty of space, though I couldn't say now what number the room was. It was on the second floor and faced the street. I guess for that reason we were not bothered by any noise from the Biergarten adjacent. We even slept with our windows cracked open and any street noise at night ended early and in the morning, if it woke me, I just woke up thinking, YAY, I'm in Germany! Our room was plenty big and I liked that there were common areas where we could sit on a balcony overlooking the Hof and the Biergarten if we wanted. But if you're in Germany - why not just go over and have a BIER?! Prost!

Reviewed By IngaOsloThis hotel is nice, the staff are friendly and it looks like its a local pub in the reception area. We were there on a weekday, so nothing much was going on, but it was perfect for out purpose, which was to get a good night sleep. The price was also quite ok.

Pullman City Westernstadt, Titan- längste Hängebrücke, Schaubergwerk Büchenberg, Königshütter Wasserfall, kleinstes Haus in Wernigerode, Hexentanzplatz Thale, Ostdeutschen Fahrzeugmuseum Benneckenstein uvm. Können wir nur weiterempfehlen.
