Comfortable room in excellent location
Reviewed By CroomstyxKentI stayed for 2 nights in August 2021. I had booked a single room and this was in one of the Pension's annex buildings (I think they are all on the same street, this one was directly opposite, and up 3 steep flights of stairs). The room was simple but comfortable, furniture was quite modern, the bathroom was excellent, and everything was very clean. The location, in the old town is fantastic, less than 5 minutes to the town square, and about 10 to the harbour. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Staff were friendly, you have to check in by 6pm or advise them for a late check in. A covid note - I was asked to show proof of vaccination. A communications note: I messaged via the pension's contact form, they replied and the email that I replied to didn't seem to get through - so I stuck to using the contact form to confirm my booking. Would definitely return, and Wismar is a beautiful place, small and manageable and very nice indeed.

Idyllisches Camp im Nirgendwo
Reviewed By matzeinleipzigDas Naturcamp ist zwar durchaus abseits von Attraktionen, Radwegen oder sogar großen Straßen gelegen, hat dadurch aber auch einen besonderen Reiz in einer idyllischen mecklenburgischen Landschaft. Ich war dort für eine Nacht als Radfahrer mit Zelt und der Service war kompetent und zuverlässig. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr sauber, es gibt Ladestationen für Elektrogeräte und eine ordentliche Mülltrennung. Preislich ist man mit 20€ wirklich gut bedient. Ich kann das Naturcamp in schöner Lage inklusive Streichelzoo nur weiterempfehlen.

More quantity than quality!
Reviewed By HonisoiquimalypensePopped in for a drink and decided to have dinner. The restaurant has a very Teutonic feel about it , dark interior and dark wood. The music was German sea chanty type of stuff. I had the hamburger weiner schnitzel with fried egg on top and fried potatoes and my wife had the 3 fish dish, also with fried potatoes. One of the fillets was full of bones. Plates came piled high - so if you are hungry - it is a good deal. The restaurant was very busy! The bill for 2 mains , 2 wines and a pint and a half was €41.90.

A lovely, reasonably priced hotel
Reviewed By WineFoodMusicLoverPension Fischers Hus is centrally situated in the town of Zingst. As such, there is no sea view, but this is not a problem, as Zingst is surrounded by dykes, so hardly anyone has a sea view. The Pension (small hotel) is within easy walking distance of both the Baltic sea and the lagoon, as well as the town with dozens of restaurants. Three of us stayed in a suite. The suite was clean, equipped with a fridge, and had a central bathroom, so we did not have to walk through the bedrooms. My only complaint is that the mattresses were a bit too soft for my old back. We received a warm welcome from Mr Fischer. There is adequate parking. The breakfast is better than portrayed in the pictures, as we were offered a choice of eggs as well. We all chose for the scrambled egg with speck (rather like an English omelette with chunks of bacon) every breakfast for three days. Highly recommended.
